The Cocoon GRID-IT! is a total lifesaver for anyone who has a ton of small gadgets and cables. The elastic bands are genius for keeping everything secure, and I love that I can customize the layout to fit my stuff perfectly. No more tangled cords or digging through a messy bag to find what I need! I put a little flashlight at the top to click on and see in my bagIt’s the perfect size to slip into my backpack or laptop bag without taking up too much room. Super durable too—I’ve been using it for travel and daily commutes, and it still looks new. Definitely recommend this if you want to stay organized on the go!

A great way to keep all of your computer accessories in one place. Great to use with a backpack.The great part about this product is that if you already have a backpack, you can just get this to help you organize and see all that you have on you.The straps are tight and I can shake mine without having anything falling of. At first I felt like the straps would not hold everything, but they do. Since the accessories are not covered when organized, I was a little worried. But most of the time, this is in my backpack and is just fine.It has a back zipper pocket, but I don't often use it.The good things about these organizers is that the straps are not set in any position. This means you can rearrange things in any way and usually have room for those last minute extra items.Not only can I use this for computer accessories, but any other items I feel that I want to keep organized. You can use it for travel or just keeping things in your office organized.

This is a great organizational tool and for the most part it works pretty well. With this product, it’s all about using the right placement and the right items. Essentially, the size and even shape of the items that you store make a BIG difference as far as how many items you’ll be able to hold “securely”. For instance, once you use an elastic band to secure an item then you can’t use that same band anywhere else on the organizer or it’ll weaken the support of the band.Another thing that I noticed once I filled up the organizer was that I got a little bit of a curve (picture attached). It’s not, necessarily, a big deal and it did fit in my backpack just fine but I just wanted to mention that it does happen.I purchased the 15” x 9.5” organizer which contained a zippered section for documents (or other thin items) on the back. It’s a pretty neat feature and I don’t have any complaints about it but I also didn’t find myself using as much as I thought I would. I do think it could be very useful if you travel a lot though as that can be a secure place for things like your passport or boarding pass.Overall- It’s a pretty neat tool that will help you stay organized when you’re on the go and it fits perfectly in a backpack or luggage. Versatile product, easy to pack many electronic accessories all in one place. We have had the smaller size (for years) and the medium size (for 4 months). My husband travels frequently and wanted the medium one to hold more items (the medium one is shown in the picture). The gray and black items in this Grid IT are a portable phone battery charger, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, & a tablet charger 4 x 2 in. plus it's cord, both items are at least 1 inch thick. There are many items packed in the Grid IT in the picture, and still spaces for more. He is former USMC and many ask him if it is something he used in the Marine Corps.By the way, it does not fold in half, if anyone was wondering, it is very stiff, sturdy and lays flat, packs well like that, he carries it in a backpack. There is a flat zipper pouch on the back side.

Bought it to fix my EDC briefcase. USB cables, battery banks, laptop accessories, all my necessities. First perfectly in a standard laptop carry briefcase. Was worried the straps used might not be high quality or might have issues with hold, but the rubberized textures in them hold everything I've thrown at it perfectly, and I can move it as much as I want with no worries of items coming loose. Size to price was perfect.

I had seen this product in a lifehacker.com article and thought it would be a good organizer for when I purchase a messenger bag. I was pleasantly surprised at how my expectations were exceeded. I fit every little item and more in this organizer and nothing moves or falls off! The adhesion is just perfect to allow items to be removed/inserted but not fall out when I remove the organizer. I highly recommend this product for organized individuals with a messenger/satchel type bag. This review may not apply to other types of bags. To give you an idea of how many items this will hold, this is what I have attached: a clip-on mini camera, blistex, bic lighter, sd card reader, finger nail clippers, visine, altoid tin, eyeglass repair kit, lint wizard, box of matches, pill bottle, 3.5mm audio cable (2), iphone usb cable, iphone wall charger, car usb charger, logitech portable wireless mouse, elastic head flashlight, suunto ambit2 r usb charger cable, and correction tape. I'm sure if I were to rearrange all of this I would still have room for more. I look forward to it!

I got a tall, thin leather bag for Christmas, and wanted a way to store things closer to the top so they’d be easier to access. This works well for that, letting me band my gloves and a pen and such at the top while putting less used things in at the bottom. The large just barely fits my bag, and is rigid enough it does not bow or bend under the pressure of being squeezed in. Very useful!

Very helpful for keeping a backpack more organized so that you can find very small items quickly. Unfortunately, the zipper broke immediately on the back pouch because it appeared to be cheaply made in that area. Still, the product is very useful without the back pouch.
