Would be easier to use with longer hair, wet hair gives better colour.

The product does what it says but it is essentially wax crayons for the hair. Though it appears easy to apply, you need to really rub these into the hair. This leaves the hair very waxy and sticky and matted almost. Very difficult to comb through the hair after the pain is applied. Post application, it took me two hair washes for my 8 y.o to get rid of the waxy texture. Really dried up the hair inspite of using a serum and conditioner to get rid of the waxy texture of hair. definitely not buying it again and will not recommend. A hair spray color or powder would be a better option.

My child loved these, only thing that wasn’t great is how it made the hair feel & look, the colours looked great but where the colour had been the hair looked greasy even after just being washed. My child spent hours with these, so would recommend if you washed child’s hair straight after.

I combed it through my own white hair before going to see my granddaughters, they were amazed and love Granny’s pink hair.They are going to colour me their selves next time we meet up ❤️

Firstly, be aware that these are mini sized combs. The colours are vibrant and will last for many uses. This size would be more effective on shorter hair but they still work well enough on longer hair. The tops do come off and the chalk can be taken out of the comb for easier use.

Where do I start ....the grandchildren think this product is just perfect. Colours are nice. Going to look for more florescent colours next time. As a starter this is just fab - certainly recommend

I have never used hair chalk before so didn't really know what to expect and I didn't think it would turn out like the pictures. However, it was a big disappointment. I used it on my child's light brown hair and it barely shows up. I had to go over it quite a lot and really work it into her hair. It's very subtle, which we didn't want. It's also really sticky and a bit clumpy. We tried it on damp hair, as per the advice, and then on dry. Doesn't really matter either way. Also, because of how you have to really push it into the hair, the little handle snapped on two of them so I got more on my hands than on her hair. Please avoid, not so much because of the money but because of the disappointment for your child!
