BLUE JEAN COP ONE MAN FORCE

A good film but no English subtitles

Both these movies were made by Shapiro Glickenhaus Entertainment, and are good examples of low budget 80s action/exploitation movies made primarily to cash in on the VHS boom. Blue Jean Cop is the superior of the two as it is written and directed by James Glickenhaus, the man who brought us The Exterminator. Its a fast paced action thriller or buddy movie a la' Lethal Weapon. This time its a maverick cop teamed up with an equally maverick lawyer, Peter Weller and Sam Elliott help lift the material from.what would of been a generic action thriller for the vhs market. Watched it many times and always get a kick out of it. One Man Force lives up to its title an outrageous, OTT, cop thriller with a larger than life performance from John Matuszack, its a familiar tale of revenge with Matuszack battling corrupt policemen and various low lifes to avenge the death of his partner. All in all a fun double bill.

I love Blue Jean Cop and have seen it many times. The reason I bought it, years ago, was cuz I love Sam Elliot and his sexy voice. Not seen one man force.
