i have been buying these since my dog was a puppy - i use to buy the orginal Yaker ones then Everest - in fact i have tried most brands over the years and never had a problem.sometimes they last a couple of days - sometimes 2 weeks but i have never had a complaint - now i tend to microwave them just a little to get a bubble going as my dog is now 5 and not an aggressive chewer - she still loves the taste and because they have nothing nasty in them i prefer them to cheap treats or dentastix.I have seen some people complaining about them not lasting long - but it seems to be people with staffies, alsations or that sort of large aggressive chewing dog rather than your average household pooch - everyone i know uses them and swears bu them - but then i dont know anyone with a staffie thankfully.when they get small - pop them in the microwave until they puff up - similar to a cheese puff or pork crackling - your dog will go crazy and nothing is wasted!

Bought for my 4.5 month puppy as he’s teething but down to the back teeth now so wanted something harder for him to chew on that is actually edible unlike bones etc. he loves it, he’s had it around 4 days now and it’s probably down to around a third of the size but he chews for hours at at a time so it is lasting well. Product arrived as advertised and was the size I expected for a medium.

These arrived today and my two instantly fell in love with them. Alfie (1 yr) is a chewer and Toby (10 yrs - Westie) wasn't but loves a good chew now. Which is great, he's getting on a bit now and it's really helping his teeth 😁🐶 So, back to the these Yak sticks. They are hard but easy to get into, my two have been chewing them now non stop for 2 hrs. I'd never leave them alone with any chew and will be taking these off them to give their jaws a rest. So far so good. Definitely recommend these, little bits do come off them but it's edible and fat free so no harm done. I'll get getting some more as spares.

Wouldn't purchase again as it is quite small and doesn't last long so not very good value for money however my dog loved it

The media could not be loaded. My dog is a German Shepherd. I thought this would be suitable for him. He very much enjoyed it. He sniffed out the box that had the treats in. I gave it to him first whilst i opened the rest of my parcels. Low and behold he had finished before I had. It feels firm and looks good. There is no smell to it which is a big plug as some of his treats can make the house and rug really smell. I also liked the idea of any broken bits could be microwaved for 30-60 seconds and it will be turned into a puffed pop corn typed piece for them. So essentially 2 treats. We didn't get that far though.As Riggs is classed as an agressive chewer this is what I always search for on Amazon when looking for treats and toys. This was suggested. I would of expected a treat to last longer BUT the main thing is MY DOG ENJOYED IT , ATE EVERY LAST PEICE AND WANTED MORE.

Kept my pooch entertained with the chewing, just didnt last long, maybe should have got a bigger one!

So bought this before a few months ago and it was lighter in colour. Its my go to chew for quiet time with puppy as hes teething. Now this one is darker, has a little bit of a stronger smoky smell and a little harder/dryer.Puppy was still happy to chew but as per other reviews, something has changed.
