Too bulky

These grip to the floor like a F1 car around a track. However they run a little big, and the inside is slick, so your feet slide like an ice skater for about an inch :)

If your looking for a cheaper alternative to something like the vibram five fingers. I would recommend split toe Japanese boots like this. I use them in the gym and the work will and flexible. Only down side is they are a a bit expensive compared to what you get, no doubt to shipping fees from japan as these should really be half the price.
