Fuse Powersports Kawasaki 2009-2014 Mule 4010 UTV Winch Mount Kit

I bought this to mount a Superwinch Terra 45 winch with synthetic line on a 2011 Kawasaki 4010 Trans 4x4 Mule. At the time, the Fuse website said that this mounting plate will work with this specific winch but they have since removed that line from the description on the site. The problem lies in the fact that a Terra 45 with the synthetic lead requires front mounting holes 6 inches apart for the hawse and the front "ears" on this bracket for mounting a hawse or roller lead are only 4 1/2 inches apart. The same is true for the winch that has a wire rope and roller fairlead. I will say that once I contacted Superwinch and Fuse Powersports, both acknowledged the issue and Fuse said that they were already redesigning the plate for the correct spacing. Fuse said that once it is in production, they will be shipping me a new mounting plate with the correct 6 inch spacing to mount the hawse. At this point, it has been almost 4 weeks and would not have been a good situation if I had needed it as soon as I ordered it. While it does not specifically say so, it appears that the identical mounting plate sold on the SuperWinch web site is made by Fuse or if not, is an exact replica.2/12 UPDATE: After too many phone calls to count and 3 attempts, CMP (the manufacturer) finally got it right. Too bad it is 4 months after the original purchase. The craziest thing is when they got the 2nd one wrong and I called them they admitted that they did not have a Terra 45 to test it with....I do have to say that their customer service people were nice and polite and took my "feedback" well.WIll post a final update once I get it mounted.

Unit arrived very quickly. Installation. Was marred by holes not exactly matching 4500 lb . Took much longer than it should have to install because holes had to be manually filed. Installation and functionality are fine after the extra work.

After finnally finding out I did indeed need a winch mount on my gas 4010 Trans Mule I ordered this. At first I thought they sent me the wrong product as it was a 2 piece mount. It was a great big pain to mount as you couldn't tighten the 2 pieces together before you installed it so bolt holes would line up. With the plow mount using the bottom half of the frame and this using the top half, it had to be a pretty good fit to make it work. All fit well and finish is good. Getting it all together and bolts tightened with no room to work was a difficult task. I found I needed to mount the winch to the plate before mounting the plate to the Mule. I am very happy with the heavy dutiness of this mount and how it mounted to the mule frame. Difficult to install tho.
