The first Allpowers 288Wh/78000mAh generator that I received was excellent. It provided a reasonable power supply for a very reasonable duration and charged easily from mains and via a solar panel. I was so impressed, I decided to buy another two so that, whilst one was charging, I would have two charged and available for use. THUS BEGAN AN INTERMINABLE DISASTER. The second unit had a broken charge light, making it impossible to tell if it was charging. I returned it. The third unit had a broken charge light and something LARGE rattling around inside the casing. It was also scuffed and grubby, clearly previously used. I returned it. The fourth unit (I have just received) has a broken charge light and, having left it charging to see if it is only the light that is defective, it turns out not to be charging either. I shall return it.In fairness, it seems that the UK distribution centre is entirely to blame for this fiasco. I know the power unit is excellent (if not broken when it arrives; my first unit is still performing perfectly) and the seller in China is honest (I have received instant refunds for each return). However, it seems that customers are returning defective units to the UK distribution centre and the UK distribution centre is immediately sending those used and defective units out to new customers.I have ordered a fifth unit. I shall update this review when it arrives.Update: 8 October 2019The fifth unit has failed to arrive although a full month has now passed since it was said to have been dispatched. I have requested a refund and ordered a sixth unit from yet another supplier. I shall update this review when (if?) it arrives and has been tested.Update: 10 October 2019The sixth unit has arrived, been tested and seems to work. I now have 2 working units out of 5 (plus one that disappeared somewhere between China and the UK) - so there seems to be a one in three chance of receiving a working unit. But when they work, they are excellent - so I have raised the rating to 3 stars.

I don't usually leave reviews.. if it works it works..but I must admit this little unit can get you out of trouble in the event of grid down situation and ideal for camping..it does what it says on the tin!!! I recommend that you buy the 100 watt Solar Panel to go with it which charges the unit quickly in FULL SUN ( cloudy days it is obviously going to charge at a slower rate ) ..I bought the low wattage white goods to go with it..ie: kettle, cooler, mini tubular heater etc and they all work perfectly well..it really is a light weight unit you can carry anywhere! I'll probably buy a second unit to have in the boot so i can charge my battery powered tools, phone, radio, boil a kettle even if your in the middle of nowhere and also it prevents thiefs from walking off with your stuff because it's all locked up in your car.. I always give a very honest and unbiased option about products I review. If something is rubbish, I will tell you its rubbish. This isn't - exactly the opposite. I was impressed by the positive reviews on the internet which led me to getting this particular unit. I am not disappointed. It seems to be well built, came fully charged, arrived a lot sooner than I thought and very well packaged. I have tested it and the unit works absolutely fine. For the price in comparison to other similar products, it provides exactly what those other brands offer but which are considerably more expensive. No hesitation in recommending this product. Very good value for money. I also purchased the foldable solar charging panel (100W) which I would also recommend. I own a boat and the combination of the two are ideal for when I am at anchor.

Great product brought with a 100watt foldable solar collector.I have a cpap machine and runs for 4 nights off one charge .on 12vI had an issue with the unit and the company are an absolute pleasure to deal with and swiftly sorted the issue.I would recomend this product highly

Received one of the dud units currently doing the rounds in the UK (see other reviews). Didn't work and defective product. Returned immediately.Poor seller experience via fussy returns policy. Look elsewhere for better quality product.
