i was only interested in a flooring protector to save my hardwood floors from damage from the new total gym i bought. but got mor than just protection. PROS: 1: they protect my floor. 2: they reduce the noise made while exercising (mostly when doubled/tripled on the floor) (i hav a "thin" creaky house where u can hear every litl noise sum1 is making) 3: AND, they are SOO MUCH EASIER!!! on my feet than darn hardwood floors. i work on concrete floors all day anyway, as if i wanted to come home to MORE hard flooring... CONS: the only cons i hav found are 3: 1: the side edge pieces that make a good looking border (altho, the puzzle looking edges dont look bad) dont fit quite right up against other edge pieces. so much so, i had to take clippers to sum edge touching another edge pieces wen they meet in the corners just to makem look better/lay down flush with the floor. a truly universal "fit" wud hav been much appreciated. & if there is 1, i havent found it/ invested the time to look/try hard enough to find it. 2: the pieces go together very well & stay that way..... until u start seeing tiny gaps form from where what u hav on top is grabbing & dragging the pieces slightly apart. thus creatin a slight crack appearance where the pieces come together. dont get me wrong, they dont come undone at all. its just they are not 100% sturdy for such forces to be applied to the seems, to satisfy appearances. 3: i hav noticed that the underside, does not hav a surface the tries to grip the floor enough so that they wud stay in place better wen lateral top force is applied to them. if they had, my con #2 wud not be an issue at all in my opinion & they would trluy b without flaw. ps: yes, i realize these mats are MAINLY for your own body to b exercising on them. not you being on heavy gym equipment applying force. bottom line is: i lovem, no matter my superficial flaws! ^__^ there are very good.

I work out in my bonus room, usually to Pahla B fitness videos. The flooring is laminate. I have a yoga mat, but it's not big enough for some cardio moves, and not thick enough to protect my bare feet from pain (I have a neuroma in one foot.) I looked at a lot of different interlocking exercise mats, and finally chose this one. I use it almost every day. It's perfect. It's big enough to do most everything on. It rarely moves or comes apart (depending on how I step on it.) It protects my feet, keeping them pain-free no matter what I do! I usually just leave it down all the time, but picking it up for floor cleaning is fine; it's easy to get back together. I'm also able to do some yoga on it, it's not very slippery. It's also not so thick that I can't do balance exercises. Actually, I can't think of a single thing that I don't like about it. I wish I had bought it a long time ago!

These tiles lock together and work pretty well. They provide stable footing, don't get too slippery if I spill water on them, and protect the floor underneath. They deaden sound as well. The pattern provides a decent grip as well. The flooring is soft - but not too soft. Like Goldilocks, it is jussst right. I don't think I would want to slam barbells on them, but they seem to be holding up just fine to my kettlebells. I can do floor exercises with a high degree of comfort - much nicer then the old wood floor (and no chance of splinters is pretty awesome too). Doing a large room is expensive - right now, I have a strategic area laid out. I will add to the flooring over time until I get the whole room done. I am pleased with this product

Excellent flooring for my van build and NO off gassing. Easy to cut and install and I get compliments when people look in, plus it's a good insulator against noise, heat and cold.

Works great for protecting for from weight and sweat

We just purchased these for our home and when we opened the package, one of the tiles had black mold on it! I opened it from the plastic and was laying them on the ground when we noticed it. They seem to be great mats but we are very concerned about this, especially coming from a new package!
