cookin with George outdoors.
Works great have used both sides of grill. Only downside is can't close top when cooking.Have just gotten back from a 2 week camping trip and used this several times. Worked great the only complaint is the igniter only sparks about 1 in 20 clicks which means you need a lighter/match to reliably light it.Made pancakes using flat side and determined it works best pouring fresh pancakes on outer edge and then flipping to the back when you flip. The lid makes it difficult to pour batter further back, but does a good job of protecting food and flame from the wind.

Efficient Attractive Grill
It is better than my old grill and 5 things come to my mind right away.1. I can make breakfast on it.....you flip the grill over and then you have a flat griddle to use.2. Cooking fish will not be a problem as they can't fall through the grill/griddle.3. No grease fires or flare ups - grease drains into grease holder in the front.4. shoulder strap (I have yet to try this) or handle.5. push button ignite. This grill is a great addition to my little backpacking stove on which I can do the other types of cooking such as boiling water for coffee or cooking soup. This grill does not close up while cooking......it has side shields and the top for wind breaks. Its easy to clean - has a non stick surface, paper towel or hand wash.(to cover the grilled food, I saved the lid from my old grill)You're supposed to let the griddle or grill heat up for 8 minutes before you start. If its warm out I don't think 8 minutes is necessary. The burner underneath is smaller than my last grill so it burns through the propane canister more slowly. In other words - even with the preheat time I think it will be more efficient and use less gas than my old grill did. And the burner is never going to get stuff on it like grease and fat. See photo. It folds neatly and with the handle is very portable and pretty light.I chose the red.

Nice and compact
Got this for my husband for fathers day and we finally used it tailgating at a FSU game. Nice and compact. A few concerns we have are: It should have a lip on the back to prevent food from sliding off the back when you try to use a spatula to pick it up. He wishes the lid closed when cooking, I thought it did when I purchased it. Finally, we thought we were missing a piece because there is a gap where the propane tank attaches to the grille. Weird...doesn't seem safe. My filet mignon was delish and I look forward to using it again at our next football game.

George Foreman Portable Grill
If I had to sum it up in one word, AWESOME!!! This thing is way nicer and user friendly than the other guys. It folds up and fits in a small space, doesn't go through a bunch of gas and gets pretty hot and is fairly even heat on the grill top. Grease trap is very handy and tucks inside under the grill with the gas tube when folded up so no loose parts getting lost on transport. has a nice wind block on three sides when in use. I am very pleased with this purchase and I recommend it especially if you want a compact, light weight small/medium grill for on the go, this is it!I will say this much, when you dish up a pile of searing hot bacon and eggs to your buddies in a duck blind when its -9 degrees you get the "hero of the day" award and it becomes an even more memorable hunt that will get talked about time and time again. On those extreme cold trips I bought a cheap pan that I cover the items I'm cooking and it helps retain the heat and works like a charm ( you can see in the pictures), so if you are complaining about it not getting hot enough, quit whining and get a pan and you will see a huge difference.

Awesome Grill
Two years ago I got a portable grill that was marginal at best but I could not return as I had used it already. That grill, the heat output was way too low and the handle broke off in one trip. We have two electric George Foreman grills for the home, so I decided to give this one a try. Not only is the heat output great but the cooking space is expansive. As you can see in the picture, I fit 12 burger patties that fed 4 hungry boys in one shot. I also made pancakes, eggs, and bacon in the mornings with ease. Also it collapses in to a suitcase style so all the working parts are protected and is slim to store in a small space. I also brought it to a church retreat and everyone marveled at how well it worked. Cleanup is super easy since you can take out the cooking surface and rinse it off. Unless you're looking for a charcoal grill, for a gas grill, this is the one to get.

Ignitor broken out of the box
The ignitor was broken when I received it and I called the manufacturer to see about replacing the part. The representative said 48 hours and they would contact me. Over 2 weeks later and no response so I called again and was told the part was not in stock and I would have to return the unit. It was easier to return with Amazon and I'll be buying another brand. I did try it out by igniting it manually and measured the grill temp with an infrared thermometer, at 8 minutes it reached its max temp of 491 degrees. Once refrigerated, not frozen, hamburgers were placed on the grill surface the temp dropped to around 300. Burgers tasted pan fried. Cleanup was easy and it is an interesting design but the lack of customer support was a deal breaker.

Great little Grill
I saw this grill at a retail store and like the concept and the fact that the flame was somewhat protected from the wind. The wind issue is important to me as where I camp is very windy and open flames are all but useless as the heat does not make it to your food so cooking times are long. So I went on line to check out the reviews, none to find. So i went for it through Amazon because if it failed it would be easy to return. However the grill preformed outstandingly. It lights on the first or second click of the igniter. The flame is not huge, even on high, but it cooks fairly evenly without the worry of burning your meal. The cook top cleans quick and easy, no scrubbing. On the first outing I cooked sausage, bacon, eggs, fajitas, made toast, and grilled cheese sandwiches. I don't have to worry about sending it back, as this one is a keeper.
