It’s not a glare, there’s a huge dent in the candle. The bottom is scratched. It has obviously been lit before. Was also going to give them as gifts but can’t now.

I have the entire line of Pop candles. They are aesthetically beautiful and with a bottle of wine, a terrific gift to bring when dining at a friends home.That said, are these candles worth the price? If you can purchase for <$30, yes. Sometimes you can get the Tomato, Grapefruit, Basil and Sea Salt for under $30. The metallics (Bourbon, Champagne and Vodka are usually over $40.While the metallics are elegant and beautiful, they come with caveats: They show fingerprints and scratch easily. Also, when the candle is burning you only get illumination from above, whereas with the non-metallics, you get a beautiful glow from the glass container.All the candles emanate a scent, the Sea Salt burns with the least amount of scent but also in my opinion, has the nicest glow. The Vodka scent is a bit overwhelming, but not unbearable. The wicks burn quickly so trim frequently to prolong the life of the candle and minimize soot

The media could not be loaded. I bought this candle as a gift for a friend’s surprise birthday. I received it only a day or two before the event and had no other option but to give it to her. The scratches on the box and the candle were very obvious and looked like an inferior gift. I thought about not wrapping it and presenting to my friend. I was very disappointed with the quality of this item.

This used to be the most amazing smelling candle I have ever smelled. Truly intoxicating. However, the company has gone and changed the scent without letting anyone know. It now smells like laundry detergent. Disgusting. I just bought 8 of these and am returning. The company refuses to refund the shipping that I have to now pay due to their deceptive practices. I would have bought these in bulk for many years. Shame
