Redken Ringlet 07 Curl Perfecting Lotion 6 Oz. Pack of 2

I have been using the Ringlet 07 Curl product for over a year now. I have been told by every hair stylist I have encountered that I have impossible hair. Just one of the problems, my hair is curly/frizzy on one side and wavy/smooth on the other. I won't bother to list all the other problems. Since using this product it has been a lot easier to maintain my curls/waves in some orderly fashion. This time around I did not receive the Redken Ringlet 07 Curl Perfecting Lotion. Instead they sent out the Redken Curvaceous Ringlet. I don't know if it is an updated version of the 07 or a different product sent by mistake. But as I needed to use it right away I didn't question it. Whether it was sent to me on purpose or in error it doesn't really matter as it seems to do the same job.

I have used this product for about a year. Encourages curl, good definition and control, but no sticky or stiff product feel. I love this product. Was nervous when I tried to buy it at the salon and it had blue packaging. My stylist had asked and been told only the packaging had changed. Well, the new product has a strange scent and it left my hair feeling limp and slightly sticky and no curl definition. I ordered 8 bottles.....enough to last a year or more. I'm hoping by then Redken will read some of the reviews I've seen online and go back to the original product, which is the best curl setting product I've used.

I love this product. It keeps my hair curly and frizz free all day. It takes only a small amount for my mid-back length hair. A 6 oz. bottle lasts me at least 6 months.I am disappointed Redken has changed the formula, especially hearing that the smell is so bad. So, I will keep from buying the new as long as I can find the old online!
