Great price for it being so hard to find.

My son wanted this ship. It was packed pretty well, and did arrive unbroken! Fun for a Sci Fi lover!

Just OK. The paint is stark white and does not look that great. Compared to other toys like Diamond select, it is lacking in fit and finish, no sounds. The stand is not tight so you cannot positing the model the way you like, it flops around, probably the second biggest let down besides the paint job. The removal of the separation of primary and secondary hull is cool, it uses a magnet instead of trying to use plastic clips. Fit is great and you may not notice the bridge detaches. Would I buy again knowing the issues? Yes, there is no other representation out there of this unit. It my be a manufacture variance that my stand will not hold the unit in the position I want it and others have no problems doing this. The paint scheme is stark white and looks almost fake but perhaps that is the look they were after. After, all the movie and the ship are mocking the star trek series of old and many aspects of that show were done on the cheap.

I bought this for my brother... He loves it! The quality is really nice. The ship sits on a stand and also features a detachable "escape pod" kind of thing held on by magnets. Great for any Galaxy Quest fan!

A nice display of a gorgeous ship. "Galaxy Quest" lovingly parodies "Star Trek" (fans at the 2013 Las Vegas Star Trek convention ranked it the 7th best "Trek" film of all time) and the design of the N.S.E.A. Protector evokes the iconic Enterprise. The ship is elegant, recalling Cold War-era science fiction. This model is pre-built with decals already attached. The upper portion of the ship is magnetically attached and can be removed as a shuttlecraft. The model includes a base with the "Galaxy Quest" logo. My only complaint is that the engines don't light up and there aren't any sound effects, but it still makes for a nice display model.

Who doesn't love galaxy quest? This show rocks! I can't believe they produced this cool ship and nebuliser and vox set from Pegasus hobbies is very cool I do had to have them there a 2009 addition.

If you loved Galaxy Quest then this is for you. If you didn't, then, well, buy it for someone who does. It doesn't light up or make noise or anything, but if you loved Galaxy Quest then you can probably make your own. Definitely for display only.
