I was very skeptical when purchasing this S9 Battery case, as I had previously purchased a different battery case on Amazon, which happened to have some issues such as it would randomly stop charging the phone after a couple of minutes, the advertised 4400mAh battery would somehow discharge very quickly (charging the phone only about 30-40% before dying), and it provided very minimal protection to the phone, leaving the entire front glass exposed. This Feob Battery case fixed all of those issues. The 5500mAh Feob + the phones built-in 3000mAh battery lasted me an entire day with very heavy usage, (gaming, recording 4k video). However, 2 days was a bit of a stretch for my usage habits. The cases raised edges provide the phone with decent protection. Before purchasing this case, you must know that NFC functionality, like wireless charging, “Google Pay”, “Android Beam” won't work when this case is applied, and some tripods and most smartphone gimbals won't hold onto the phone, as the battery case adds some thickness, despite its very slim design. I can confirm that my DJI Osmo Mobile 4 smartphone gimbal does NOT work with this case applied. This case is however very slim and is built of good feeling materials. It slides in/out of your pocket very easily, but it is not necessarily slippery. One thing that is very important to me is to be able to sync data between my phone and computer with the type-C cable. This case did work with data transfer between a computer and phone. The reason I say this is because the previous case I purchased advertised that it worked to transfer data but in reality dint. But for whatever reason, it doesn't charge the phone at the same time. My guess is that a low power connection like that from a computer/laptop inst compatible with the case, and doesn't work properly to charge the phone, and case at the same time. This case does provide some protection to the phone if you drop it, but don't expect it to survive much. If you want a protective case with “military-grade protection” this is not for you. The carbon fiber power button to start charging the phone from the case battery feels very nice and is easy to reach. If you use the fingerprint scanner on the rear of the device, it may take some getting used to because your finger has to bend more to reach the scanner. You will get used to it very quickly however, you might want to re-program your fingerprint in the phone to make at faster to unlock with the new position of your finger that will be in contact with the scanner. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack is cut big enough to fit most cords.Overall, I would recommend purchasing this case if you are somebody what has a Galaxy S9, and noticing the battery doesn't last long anymore or uses your phone a lot for heavy load tasks such as gaming and 4k video recording. The wireless charging and NFC won't work anymore, and your not putting much protection on your phone, But in return, you get a premium case with a nice battery that will last you all day + more. If you looking for a good Galaxy S9 battery case, I would recommend you purchase this case and don't go cheap out on a different one like I did.

I'm usually too lazy to write reviews but if a product is either really bad, or really good, I'll take the time. I have a unique perspective reviewing this product because I previously owned a competing product (which broke thus why I bought this one) and this one is much better. For starters, the previous one fell apart after about 16 months, which, with everyday use is not totally out of hand but it was definitely more cheaply made, this one has a much sturdier build quality. It also have a higher capacity, over 5500, the other was like 4800, and as we know, every little bit counts when it comes to battery life. The other thing that I really like about this one is the rate of it's passthrough charging, and this is a big deal and what prompted me to write this review. In short, it's the charging speed (regular or fast charging) that is achieved with the phone while it is being cable-charged and also in the case, meaning the charge has to pass through the case to the phone. In my previous one, it was slow charging; which means it takes something like 900 years to charge. J K but it can be something like 8 hours so unless doing it before bedtime slow charging is never gonna work. Therefore I would have to charge them separately. With this one, I'm getting fast charge through the cable, while encased. About 2 hours, which is the same as if it were cable charging not in the case. So the point I don't have to charge the phone and case separately anymore (even though technically it was possible). Now I can just charge up the phone while in the case and when it hits 100% it switches to charging the case battery. Lastly, this case doesn't get as hot as the other one when either getting charged or discharging into the phone. It's nice not to have a hot potato in my pocket when I'm case-charging my phone. The ONLY thing I like better about the old case was, and this is super extra, is that the case charging port was situated on the bottom of the case, similar to the charging port location of the actual phone. I think we are all used to fiddling with our charging phone and working around the cable at the bottom. This one the cable comes out the top. But having said that I think now maybe it's a good thing because one can put the phone right on their stomach if reclining and not have the cable sprout in the way, or they can use a stand without it in the way, so maybe that's just a personal preference of mine. Anyhoo, I wrote this whole review even after seeing that it's currently unavailable. But who knows, these items come and go; if it does come back into stock here is a user experience someone can review to decide. I give it my full recommendation.

The function of this case is perfect. It fits the phone perfectly and its a game changer to be able to run my phone down to almost no charge and then just hit the button on the case and boom , charging. It has no trouble fully charging my phone from almost no power. I bought this for a universal studios trip where I knew their would be a high demand on my phone all day and very few places to charge. Worked great!The only con I can see is that I'm certain its not as durable as my otter box. This is definitely good for what it's intended for which is a mobile battery charger, but if your looking for a tough case you may need an otter. It makes you phone noticeable heavier which makes me feel like it wouldn't take a hit to the floor well.In conclusion for the money its agreed deal ,but I'm not looking forward to it hitting the floor eventually.

The case feels good in the hand and isn't too thick to be uncomfortable. Seeing as the battery case is 5,500 mAh and the S9 battery is 3,000 mAh, it should theoretically charge the phone almost twice from 0-100%. However, my case charges my phone about 60% before the battery case goes completely dead.This isn't an issue for me since I'm rarely that far away from a charger, so I'm overall plenty satistied.Also, customer service is surprisingly good. They handle any issues as soon as possible, no questions asked. Very nice job on their part!
