Provided no support at all. My dog has trouble getting up after laying on hard surfaces. But this is so soft she couldn't get her footing to get up. For me it was a waste of money because it really doesn't help.

I can’t speak on how well this bed serves our senior dog, because I received a used item that I had to immediately return. I opened my box to find ripped, dirty plastic with a half used item. Half of the dog bed had dirt skid marks and dead grass stuck to it. No quality control, absolutely gross and would not recommend for this reason. I will be getting a replacement and will update my review assuming the replacement is a new item.

It’s perfect for my dog.. She’s an outside/indoor pet & I place this in her dog house & her indoor crate & she would never go inside her house until I put this item in there.. Definitely money well spent..
