Getting it functioning perfectly does take some tweaking and a watchful eye until it's how you want it. The setup was easy and the Blumat kit with bucket kept the plants watered. Things I should have done differently and which may be helpful to other users: 1) I assembled the kit the day before I left and did not have the time to adjust the water flow per instructions; next time I will put the kit together a few days in advance - as recommended in the instructions; 2) the water bucket is black, and the weather was very hot during my vacation (100+ deg F); it would be better to place the bucket in a shaded place if possible, as the heated water may cook the plant roots if the bucket is in the sun; 3) the supplied length of black 8mm tubing was just enough for my eight pots grouped together; a longer piece of tubing may be required if the pots are farther apart. Overall a great system that worked well for me. ### ⭐ Mine came with holes drilled into my reservoir! *by A***R on March 6, 2021* The actual kit itself over all is nice, but somebody drilled 4 holes and used zip ties to attach a single connector piece that could have easily been thrown inside the bucket in a bag with the rest of the connector pieces. Not only can I not fill my reservoir up all the way, I now have light leaking into my reservoir causing issues. Don't buy this from Amazon buy it from Sustainable Village website.
