UPF 50+ Boys Sun Hat with Neck Flap Summer Beach Hat Kids Safari Hat

I wasn’t too sure what to expect size wise fromThis hat. I was praying it wasn’t toddler size like the majority for sell on here. However, this hat is great and was able to fit all 3 of my kiddos heads (6,9 & 11). Love the material it’ll definitely dry quick and give them the protection they need at the beach. I’m planning to order more and I love that the neck piece can snap off should you not want that.

Bought this for my 2 year old since he has very fair and sensitive skin. We always make him wear a hat outside during the day but it just wasn't enough coverage. He would always come back inside the house with hot, rosy red cheeks and it wouldn't go away for hours. Once we bought this, his face and shoulders are covered as well as the back of his neck. Its lightweight and still allows breeze so he's not burning hot and sweating from wearing it.

Great hat! Fits my 5 and 6 year olds heads really well. You can adjust the straps and the head size easily, should last several years for them. Pefect to protect from the hot sun and they stay on well in water activities.

Nice color and light weight material. Good fit. My head is small like teen/kid size 20" circumference. I like the snap off neck protector. Yes it fits Adults if you have the small head circumference like mine.I would buy again.

I purchased this hat for my 6 year old daughter. There are several features I like about this hat. First off, the back neck flap can be removed, as well as, the chin strap. My daughter has Sensory Processing Disorder and this hat would have been useless if not for these detachable parts. The hat is also adjustable on the top of the hat so it stays on her head easily without the chin strap. I have two minor complaints about the hat. The first being that unless you tuck the child’s ears in then it causes the ears to stick forward. I have a similar style hat for adults that does the same thing so maybe it’s just this type of hat design or my family has big ears. My second minor complaint is that the hat’s rim isn’t completely flat just slightly warped even when I try to bend it to make it flat. Even with these minor complaints then I’m happy I purchased this for our summers outside.

I bought two of these for my boys, and two weeks later I bought another two. They love them so much they want to have them at camp, and at Mommy and at Daddy's house. I love that the neck flap can be removed. They have not done it yet because it is comfortable enough. These are the only hats they will keep on and I love that you can cinch the back to make them fit well. Plus they pretend they can wear them backwards with a neck flap as a face mask which cracks me up. Bonus points.

My kids love this hat. It’s thin so it doesn’t make them sweat as much as other hats and you have the option of using the neck cover. I prefer using the neck cover because it protects them all around. I love how the top has mesh so that helps more with keeping kids from getting too hot. The chin strap is great when it is windy and the size adjistoe in the back is good to keep the hat snug on their head regardless of age and size. My 4 and 8 year old both use this hat fine. Best summer purchase.

why the neck flap starts and end even before the ears start?? not only it acts like blinkers/obstructs the side vision it causes the whole flap to stretch too much and touch the neck( because they didnt use enough cloth for the flap) . And the inner border(all along the circumference) of the hat always comes out from the front, its looks so ugly. Its an ugly cheaply made hat! I just bought it for the color otherwise I hated the extra back rim as well. if there's a neck flap what is the need of the back rim? they made it convertible, in case u dont wanna use the flap. USELESS idea!
