Amazon ad language implied it could be returned - right there in the display. But click on the return function which you do when you need to make are return and then you find that it cannot be returned. Poor communication at best deceptive in appearance.

Great product! After a recent hospital stay, I needed a transfer bench. Never even looked at another one. Drive had exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. It was super easy to put together [no tools needed] and adjusting it for my tub was easy. It is heavy weight, sturdy, and very stable. I had reservations about the suction cups but they are holding fast inside the tub. They are holding so good that I couldn't pull them off. It took 2 beefy neighbor guys to pull them up! I feel safe getting in & out of the shower now. The prefab shower stall in my bath is smaller than most & I had to detach the siderail so it would fit but it will fit in a full size 5 foot tub easily. You will need a catch basin to keep water off the floor but that is a small price to pay for safety. I recommend this product.

Nice seat. Slightly smaller than the seat it replaced, but new means it is solid. ... At least for a while. Construction screws started dropping out after a few weeks. That's not good.Update 3 September 2020: after several months of the plastic seats deforming, the whole seat broke in half under the middle seat. Not sure how yet, but fortunately the feet jammed against the shower walls to prevent total collapse. So we got about there years of use out of it.

Used this transfer seat in my tub after knee surgery. I don"t know how I would have showered with out it. I weighted 350# at the time and it was very sturdy. Easy assembly with NO nuts and bolts. All snaps together and apart. When a month went buy I started to be able to step into tub, so cleaned it with soap water and bleach then sold it on line. Got 1/3 my money back which made it an excellent deal for me.Note: It's not that I couldn't have forced the climbing into the tub/shower but if you slip in the first 6 weeks you will be sorry.

Very simple to assemble. I have a whirlpool style bath tub, so the walls are taller than a typical bath tub. This seat has enough height to straddle my tub wall. I ended up not using the back or side rail as they got in the way. It was great to be able to sit on the stool while still outside the tub, and then slide over into the tub. It feels quite sturdy and safe. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about how well the suction legs would stick to the bumpy surface of the inside of the tub, but I did not have any problems with that.

(For the record, I actually did not want to give a single star as a rating, because I thought this transaction was just awful. But of course, I could not post my review without giving a star, so here you go.)This was ordered for my elderly mother per the occupational therapist providing care for her. She suggested this particular model and was additionally helpful by offering to assemble this transfer bench.However, there were two issues that prevented the use of this transfer bench. 1.) One of the rods that attaches under the seat was missing. 2.) One of the legs would not lock in place, and therefore would not be able to hold any weight (i.e. unsafe to use at all).AMAZON DID NOT MAKE THIS RETURN EASY AT ALL. It states off the bat that this item is only available for exchange or refund. When I tried to process a return for this item, I was only given the option to contact the manufacturer directly (great timing, since this happened the weekend of Labor Day 2022).When I finally heard back from the manufacturer's customer service (this Tuesday, after Labor Day), they informed me that since I received this less than 30 days ago, that I would need to GO BACK TO AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR MY REFUND!So I did, and was given my refund to a gift card about 2 - 3 hours later as they stated. But I didn't need to return the defective item to Amazon, now I had homework to do and take out their own trash!This was a waste of time and disappointing.

I am a larger-sized disabled person. I previously had a safety chair that made me feel like I was always going to fall off. When I saw this bench I knew it would be so much better. I love the bench!! It is sturdy, plenty wide, and very comfortable. Easy to clean. fits in my shower stall with room to spare. Easy to assemble. Now I have peace of mind when I shower.

I purchased this bench for an invalid family member in January of this year (2019).It was delivered in a timely manner and assembled at once.During the assembly process I found myself short two (2) plastic clips that were critical in making the bench safe to use. I immediately called the manufacturer and requested replacement parts.The manufacturer's reply stated the parts were on back order and would not be available for six (6!) months.WOW!Eventually I received the parts requested (just this week on September 24, 2019). The manufacturer played 20 questions with me prior to actually sending the clips. I have at least 10 emails requesting everything from serial number (not on the bench, but on the original packaging), part number of the clip (no where to be found in all my paperwork) and the original shipping order number ( I had the Amazon number, but not the original mfg shipping order number).All of this 'run around' and 'excess verbage' to keep from sending two simple clips that are required to make the bench safe for a handicapped person.The bench is fine, but the manufacturer and their customer service department leave a lot to be desired.

Not all tubs are created equal. Kudos for the suction cup design that really does adhere to tub surfaces, but with narrow, rounded tubs, the side handle inside the tub does not work with a wide large human body. It just takes up too much needed room for the body to sit in the tub and bench. I had to remove the handle. For others here who have had this problem, you do not have to sit on the pipe openings that dig into you. Solution: Save cork bottle tops from alcohol bottles [not wine] with a lid attachment. It fits inside the holes perfectly. Glue in with strong glue, then top with precut walker tennis balls. [Caveat: do not do this if you plan on returning the unit, as it will probably nix the warranty.] Otherwise, this piece of equipment is amazingly sturdy for heavy folks. Every other feature works perfectly. The height is excellent, and it holds my weight. It is not too uncomfortable to sit on. For people who complain about the suction cups - look, just put your nail under the lip and it lifts right up.

Item is broken, back piece has broken, and now not usable. Lasted less then 5 months. Person using items is under the weight limit. Not a good purchas
