Amazing slip resistant shoes.... Happy Feet!!!!!
As someone that has had trouble with my feet, wearing quality shoes is my only option. I cannot get by without having good footwear, otherwise i`ll be out of work and off my feet for an extended period of time. I have tried many, many, many, brands and styles of footwear. I am employed in the restaurant industry as a bartender/server so being on hard floors for many hours is a requirement of my job. And having slip resistant footwear is essential. These Merrell Jungle Moc Pro Grip are just fantastic. Comfort is incredible, along with the superior build quality you get from Merrell, and slip resistant!! All I can say is wow! These shoes are by far and large THE BEST I have ever worn for work!!! Do not hesitate to purchase these shoes, sure they might cost a little more then some other slip resistant brands, but it`s well with a couple extra bucks!!

Comfortable with a natural step
So far, these are the most comfortable shoes I've used for nursing. As an RN, I'm on my feet a lot and there aren't many options for men's nursing shoes. These are non slip woth easy to clean leather uppers. Unfortunately, unlike many of the cross-trainers that my co-workers wear, these are not really all that breathable. In my opinion, it's more important to have easy to clean uppers (because I haven't had to clean them yet, but if I got poop, urine, or blood on a pair of mesh uppers, I'd have to trash them right away. Not easy to do with expensive cross-trainers).I wear them with compression socks and this combo has made a big difference. My feet are able to make it the whole shift (and I basically have low arch/flat feet). I've only been wearing these for a couple weeks now though.

Like wearing a loaf of bread on your feet
Wow! I ordered these after getting my first service job at a restaurant. At first I went to PayLess looking for a pair of non-slip shoes. They had quite a few in their selection, but nothing I was too impressed with. That's when I hopped on Amazon to check the reviews of other non-slip shoes and found these guys. They're absolutely true to size. Whatever shoe size you normally wear, stick with it because I promise you these will fit perfectly. The toe area is nice and wide, so you won't get scrunched up or sore toes from standing on your feet all day. They're soft, yet firm at the same time so they create a nice foundation and support for your feet, while allowing you to move quickly and keep your feet attached to the ground. Someone spill a ranch packet on the ground and you didn't see it? No problem. The grip on these suckers is amazing. My only qualm with them is that you get lines towards the middle of the shoe from them bending while you walk. It's just a small aesthetic thing and it's not even noticeable from eye level. Besides that, I can see these lasting me a couple years at least before ordering another pair (and yes, I will order this same exact shoe!)

nice shoes. helps with back pain
The heel is a little higher than expected, but I'm coming from years of wearing super flat shoes. So far, these are pretty comfortable. Sometimes, I have to walk a couple miles over mixed terrain to get to work, and these feel fine for it, as well as the night in the kitchen and travel home. Waterproofing seems to be working well, as I've already had a few large splashes. Haven't taken them out for a bike ride in the rain yet, but I'm confident that they'll keep my feet dry. Overall, I think it was a great purchase. My legs and back don't hurt nearly as bad after work as they used too.

A cure for plantar facsiitis in my case.
I suffered terribly from plantar fasciitis for years. I've had several of the lovely shots in the heel, etc. A year or so ago I had a podiatrist suggest I wear 2 or 3 brands of shoes. One of them was Merrel. I've worn nothing but Merrel jungle mocs ever since. My suffering is over. My plantar facsiitis is gone. I travel a lot for work. Slip them off and breeze through security. No laces. I wear this style for work because they aren't suede and pass for work shoes in most instances. I wear the nubuck on my time. I'll never wear anything else. It s been nothing short of a miracle cure......and they're very, very comfortable!

Great for nursing
I have purchased probably 3 pairs of white sneakers for my nursing school as part of our uniform requirement where the shoes have to be all white and no perforation, which makes shoe shopping extremely difficult. Every single one of them has left me with aching feet after an 8 hour clinical rotation. I tried these out today and they definitely support my feet better than everything else I've tried. I'm glad this was on sale for $60 cause the original $100 was not appealing, so when I saw the price reduction I immediately purchased. But I feel like the one I received was a return cause the bottom appeared to be a bit darker than the top (unlike the all white photo) and someone tried to clean it up as best as they could. Also when I walk on tiled floors there's that sticky sound. But whatever, I can't find this shoe anywhere else and for this price, so I'm willing to overlook it.

Try them on first!
These shoes are definitely comfortable. They do run somewhat large which is a shame. If they fit me like all the other 10.5 shoes I buy did, they'd be perfect. I needed them for work asap so I just wear thicker socks and bought new inserts. We'll see in the long run how much looser they fit once they get a chance to break in and loosen up.My suggestion is to order them ahead of when you need then to give enough time to order a new pair and get them shipped to you if you need a different size. Amazon's return policy is pretty good with shoes and clothing.

Not exactly slip-resistant, depending on the surface.
I've had these shoes for several years, they worked great in most conditions. However, I recently wore them when there was snow on the ground and I slipped, hurting myself. This may have been something that was my fault, since I do believe the shoes were great in most conditions I put them through. But I just can't give a good rating to a shoe that would slip so easily on snow.
