So this has a low B? What does the 6 string add - a lower string or a higher one?

I read a customer review on a different site that the finish is easily scratched or damaged and that the bass is extremely light. Is true?

Very light guitar but the tone is awesome way fatter than my heavier 4 strings. As far as the finish it seems find to me, but then again throw my guitars around like an idiot. I LOVE this Bass.
