Spirit, Soul and Body Paperback – March 22, 2010

This book is must read. It lays the true understanding of our foundation. I'm not much of a reader but I could Not put this down. I read in by myself. Then I got one for my boyfriend. He & I read it aloud together. Then we gathered friends to read this book aloud together with us. We each took turns reading aloud. It’s such an easy read. It changed my life. Andrew Wommack's teachings are so profound. I now have many of his books. I decided to attend on line Charis Bible College. I am almost completed year one. It has been life altering in an extremely fantastic way

I was raised Seventh Day Adventist and left the church as a teen. It wasn’t until I was 36 that I started questioning truth and who Jesus really is. I had a pretty traumatizing time with religion, having nightmares of end times and understanding God to be a viscous ruler. But after calling out to God and asking Him to reveal himself to me, he put a Holy Spirit stamp on my heart to read the Bible for myself. So I did. And what I found was a God of love who hated sin but gave a way to break us free through His perfect sacrificial lamb. I repented on my living room floor and decided to go back to my church of youth. But God’s Grace covered me and revealed the errors in religion and legalism. The more I read and studied the more He lead me to the right teachers. One day at the goodwill I decided to look at the book section and came across an Andrew Womack book on the Holy Spirit. It didn’t seem like a special book but I felt a pulling to buy it and read it. Well after reading that book, believing and asking God for His gift of tongues and having faith in the baptism of the HS, I was supernaturally baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in a new language. I received interpretation in the moment “through your belly shall flow rivers of living water”! No one laid hands on me and trust me no one in the SDA faith spoke of this baptism rather I was told tongues were of the devil. so I was pretty clueless as to what happened. I left that false religion and have been keeping my eyes on Jesus ONLY. I have now through the work of the Holy Spirit cast out demons and I pray in power for those who are sick and hurting. I’m not even close to knowing it all or to where God is leading me but big bravo to Andrew Womack and His submission to the Holy Spirit for the revelation in his books. I recommend them to many and keep extras to give out. And Yes, I’ve found a spirit filled church too! Thank you Jesus.

Very good book, read & learn

I love the simplicity of explanation between Spirit,soul and body. It has added truths that I can meditate on and truly live by the spirit. It is very practical and the commencement of the renewal process is immeduate, you just need to start.

If you haven’t read the book, I recommend ohh read it first, even though it’s not necessarily required to use the study guide. This study guide includes most of what you read in the book, but not everything. Each chapter is broken down with a reading lesson (similar to the actual book), a teacher guide, a list of questions, answers and Bible verses used in the teaching. This guide is great to help you delve deeper into this incredible teaching. I believe every believer needs to learn this as it’s a foundation in our Christian walk with Christ to learn about our identity, so that we don’t get confused by what the world tells us our identity should be.

I am surprised that more pastors do not preach on the differences between the spirit, soul, and body. Understanding these distinctions greatly benefit a Christian, and for that, I am thankful for this book. As a Baptist, I may disagree with Wommack on a few points, but the valuable insights provided far outweigh any differences. I believe you will not be disappointed with this purchase. I especially appreciate that the author keeps God's grace in focus and uses the Authorized Version, which encourages me to support his work.
