I cannot even explain in words how this probiotic has saved both my sex life and me from further embarrassment. For the past half year I've started to get an extremely unpleasant smell during sex. I went into the doctor several times and nothing was wrong. I took antibiotics and different vaginal support supplements and nothing was working. I'm 24, about 6 months ago i got a yeast infection. Went to my Dr, he gave me antibiotics and cream to apply and that was that, for the first one. a month later, another one. ok, went back to the Dr, more meds and cream. a couple months go by and another one. I had a different Dr examine me, she told me most likely my Ph levels were off, could be due to soap, birth control,my bfs semen, or a change in diet, and suggested a probiotic but more in passing than an actual emphasis as a cure. She also gave me more meds and cream and prescribed it so whenever i needed it i could just re-up the prescription instead of coming in again. A month later, another one. Like what the hell? I'm only 24, never had these problems in my life and suddenly chronic infections. I was really worried something was seriously wrong with me. it was affecting my sex life and thank god my boyfriend is amazing and unconditionally understanding, but it was really embarrassing and wearing on my own self esteem. I'm a confident women, going from hot crazy sex all the time to curled up in the corner because i'm so itchy and uncomfortable just sucks so bad! Sex was painful even with a ton of lube, it was all just bad, we just stopped having sex all together. i started researching and seriously almost anything can throw off a women's ph level. We as women got really screwed on the hormones scale. periods, pregnancy, all that go with that and now this crap too? ugh. So i saw the Rephresh Pro-B suggested a lot during my research and after reading the reviews on here, i realized how common this issue is in women. You're not alone ladies, and for a while there i felt very alone, and depressed and like a diseased freak. But this is normal stuff, even if it sucks. But it also scared the crap out of me because there were so many women who had been struggling with this issue for years, and i was praying i wasnt becoming one of them.(I feel for those women, i cant even deal with a few months let alone years of this!) I ordered a box, but ended up going out and buying one from the store the same day because i couldn't take the uncomfort anymore. The reviews were talking about this miracle cure and i had to have it asap! I started taking 1 pill a day as suggested and 3 days later... It was worse!! i was more itchy, more dischargey and more uncomfortable than i'd ever been. I was so upset and disappointed and ready to say F it, on to the next thing but i read your body needs a least a week of product to really soak into your system, level out and take effect. So in desperation i doubled my dose (1 in the morning, one at night before bed) and waited out the rest of the week. I also started washing with Vagisil Wash Ph Balance. Seriously desperate to get rid of this crap. after a whole 7 days of taking Rephresh, and a full 4 of double dosing, i was feeling better. Little to no discharge, and only a light itching remained. 2 more days and i was normal again!! I feel great!!! i started taking the regular 1 a day, and only double dose when i have sex, which is pretty often but i'm afraid if my girl down there gets too irritated it'll come back again and i'd rather be safe than sorry. I still wash with the Vagisil everyday also and my sex life is great. Im so happy to be me again!! I will be buying this once a month and i highly recommend it to anyone. Don't give up if the first few days don't seem to be helping. I'm so very happy i waited it out and gave it a chance.

I have been suffering from reoccurring vaginal infections, whether it be yeast or BV, for a while now. I've tried almost everything at this point. I used the pill-shaped vaginal suppositories that are supposed to balance your PH, I've used monistic countless times, I've taken prescription pills, the one-day yeast infection pill, I've tried topically treating it with yogurt, altering my diet - and none of these efforts have been to my avail. It was really frustrating because I have had these issues ever since a young age and all I want is for my vagina to be at optimum health. I just changed doctors and I was in the process of scheduling an appointment when I came across these probiotics. I have seen other probiotics and pills, but for some reason I never tried the oral treatment method until now. Right before taking these I had one of the worst yeast infections I have ever experienced. It was so extremely itchy and I was just looking for at least a temporary relief until I could make it to the doctor. Fast forward 5 days and I don't even fee the need to schedule an appointment. I don't know what exactly are in these, but they're MAGIC. All my symptoms have gone away and my vagina finally feels like it is back to normal! I keep smell checking (as I had to wear pantyliners before) to make sure everything is good down there and it actually smells like a normal vagina! I am still so in shock by these results. Only taking one pill a day for five days (and this is a 30-count bottle) has really made a drastic difference. I've been suffering from a vagina infection for the past 6 months and I have to say that when I was taking these I felt like they worked okay other than It took a while for me to see results. Once I finished the bottle a month later days before my period I realized I had a bad infection. Symptoms were itching, burning and pain during sex, increase weird discharge. I have to say that every time I would try to have sexual intercourse it was always so painful. Like I didn't have these pills I decided to use a home remedy in which was a clove of GARLIC. After researching like crazy I was hopeless and decided to give this a try. What I did was I inserted the clove(peeled) inside my lady part at night for 3 days straight. . I have to say that when I inserted it there was stinging in which was tolerable and it went away. I would remove it in the morning and shower afterwards and added a tiny bit of coconut oil. After those 3 days I had no more of those symptoms and I decided to give sexual intercourse a try, after having pain everytime during sexual intercouse i was nervous but for my surprise I had no pain during and no burning after it. Btw there was no garlic smell coming from down there just make sure to wash it well.. I was disbelief and so happy and I honestly say to give both of these a try but I highly recommend the clove of garlic. I know it sounds kinda gross but give it a try for whatever infection you have.

*UPDATE 5/19/2024: I've now made it over 3 years without a UTI, I'm so happy!! Still taking the 1 Rephresh probiotic every morning, and Mannose once a day, unless it's intercourse day then take Mannose 3 times. Still only use water to rinse down there in shower, and I never have any bad smells. Also wanted to mention that we've stuck with only having sex in the mornings, so that I can maximize the number of times I pee after sex. Maybe that's unnecessary but I'm sticking with what's been working because our sex is amazing and I'm so happy to no longer be afraid to have it since I'm so confident in this routine!! *UPDATE 2/22/2023: I've now made it over 2 years without a UTI, yay!! My regimen is: 1 Rephresh probiotic in morning along with 1 tsp mannose, and then on intercourse days I take mannose 3x instead of just once. That's it! I used to get UTIs 3-4 times a year, from intercourse. I am severely allergic to a couple different classes of antibiotics and was worried as the Macrobid seemed to be becoming less effective for me, and in any case it was horrible to live in fear of yet another UTI--the crippling searing pain, panic to get a prescription, waiting to get the prescription and then waiting for the prescription to take effect...the schedule disruption alone was significant. I just couldn't live like this anymore, and it was heartbreaking to think it was just from sex with my husband. I eventually learned about D-mannose, and excitedly started taking that every day (along with cranberry pills), increasing the amount on intercourse days. This did cut down on the frequency of the UTIs, but was still getting them 1-2 times a year. I noticed after the sex that triggered my last UTI, that I had a fishy smell. Next day bam, UTI. And I started to think about the bacterial balance down there...and ended up finding this product. In addition, I stopped using soap over my vulva in the shower. I ONLY rinse down there with warm water. Again, to protect the pH and therefore bacterial balance. I still pee right after sex, and still take mannose, increasing the amount on intercourse days. But it's the Rephresh probiotic that seems to have finally freed me from this curse. For the first time in almost a decade, I've made it over one year since my last UTI! And never any fishy smell after sex either. I will continue to take my Rephresh probiotic every single morning, and hopefully it will keep helping me and hopefully they keep making this product!! Oh and I keep mine stored in the fridge because I noticed the bottle says not to store above 77, and my house tends to be a little warmer than that in the summer.

TMI but I was struggling with recurrent BV. I was hesitant to make this purchase but I am so glad I did! 100% recommend if you are struggling with BV and not sure whether to buy this or not, it has helped me SO much!!

Long story short, after 3 doses I'm seeing a significant improvement! The long story, in case any of these details sound familiar and/or aid your decision making ... After separating from my partner of 15 years and never having any vaginal issues, I started having the following symptoms after one sexual encounter with someone new: itching, burning when I peed, irritation and milky discharge. I saw immediate results only after 2 days

I've suffered from chronic yeast infections for the past 2-3 years - couldn't figure out what caused it and neither could my doctor. Could be my diet, but I eat pretty clean. Nonetheless - I tend to take medication to cure it rather than prevent it. I've been taking this for almost 2 weeks now and I usually get a minor yeast infection weekly and haven't had one since I started this probiotic. It is a bit pricey but the comfort I feel makes it work the price 1000%. Both the bottle and the pills are really small so it makes it seem like you're being ripped off lol but the product itself really worked for me and I hope that it works for you too. Dealing with yeast infections is a 0/10 experience and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy so this is worth a try - if it doesn't work, try something new. The feeling of not having to worry about your cooter is pure bliss. Good luck ladies :)
