Elegance Silver 86242 Silver Plated Ice Tongs, 7"

Lovely little appetizer tongs! They're hardly a fine piece of silver, but You get what you pay for. There are certainly adequate for An elegant serving piece at any party . They are a bit overpriced but There's nothing else out there of this quality in a reasonable price range. I will no doubt order another pair!

These are really nice tongs at a very great price. I bought about 20 of them for my son's wedding reception and they were so much nicer than the standard, stainless steel ones. I really do recommend these. You could buy them for one occasion and then use them for many.

This is a great tong to use for ice and for food. They are attractive and perfect for a buffet. Bought some years ago that were, of course, less expense and a higher quality. These will do nicely, though, and I was glad to find them.

I mainly use them not for ice, but to get toast from the toaster (though I don't see any potential problems with using it for its original purpose). They look surprisingly fine, are convenient to hold, are neither too small nor too big - just the right size, and are a pleasure to use in all respects - practical, visual, and tactile. I'm buying one more of these as a present for my in-laws ^)

Found an crystal ice bucket in a thrift shop, but it needed ice tongs. These were perfect, and the ice bucket looks like an expensive purchase, with the ice tongs hanging on the edge. Looks great!

Quality is average as the size is a bit small and the edges are a little rough. The appearance is very attractive--useful for serving at parties but not for cooking. Be careful not to use it for acidic foods which will tarnish the silver. Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry with towel quickly. With gentle care and use it should last a while. Buy if you enjoy entertaining.

These tongs are an exact replica of one of my wedding gifts-53 years ago! They are much lighter in weight and were made in China. They will be perfect for my needs.
