Sturdy build quality, great for clearance, made in USA
I purchased this for my vehicle to make oil changes much easier. I used the Amazon compatibility tool to check (and in my case, it was accurate). It definitely makes the job easier. I have used this drain valve, the Fumoto, and a few other brands. If you have a vehicle with limited clearance (I see some other reviews pointing this out), keep in mind that other drain valves have a larger footprint and would likely not be compatible as well. Regardless, I would check for clearance: both ground clearance and around the oil pan before purchasing.Pros:- Lower installation profile than other drain plugs (it's in the shape of a bolt head)- The build quality! It's a very robust product, feels like no corners cut.- You can torque to spec because a socket can fit over it. This is something none of the protruding valve design competitors can do. Make sure you have a 24MM socket.- Does the job, makes oil changes very easy.- Made in the USACons:- It does slow down the flow of oil, but that will happen with any valveVery worth it. I will update with a long term review of this oil drain valve design.

Oil Changes Made Easy
As someone that does almost all of my own vehicle maintenance, I find oil changes to be one of the most simple vehicle maintenance tasks to perform. Even though it is a simple task, the ValvoMax oil drain plug makes it easier still and greatly reduces the mess and cleanup required after an oil change. I find this product so helpful that I've just purchased a third ValvoMax oil drain valve.I originally purchased a ValvoMax for my Jeep Wrangler which was equipped with aftermarket skid plates. The small opening on the skid plate for oil plug access combined with the near horizontal orientation of the drain plug made oil changes difficult and usually very messy. The ValvoMax solved this problem. The oil doesn't flow until the drain tube is connected. The drain tube directs the oil through the small opening in the skid plate into my used oil container without spilling a drop. I liked the benefits of this product enough that I purchased two more for other vehicles that I own, even though the other vehicles did not have skid plate access issues. Why ValvoMax: I prefer the design of the ValvoMax over the lever style drain plugs. Since my original purchase was for a Jeep Wrangler that is driven extensively off-road, I was concerned that trail debris could strike the lever style drain plug valve and open it. With no exposed lever to open the valve, and a cover cap secured over the valve, I felt the ValvoMax was the best design for my intended use.Problems: The only issue I have had with my ValvoMax drain plugs was the inability to get one to seal completely against the drain pan (the other ValvoMax plug had no such issue). It did not drip, but there was oil residue around the base of the drain plug indicating that the washer had not completely sealed the connection. I removed the ValvoMax plug during an oil change and replaced the provided aluminum crush washer with a metal washer with a rubber inner seal (stat-o-seal style). I then reinstalled the ValvoMax drain plug with no further leak issues. Note: I recently purchased a third ValvoMax oil drain plug and noticed that the new plug was supplied with a metal/rubber sealing washer. That change has resolved the only negative issue I have experienced with my previous ValvoMax plug. The ValvoMax oil drain plug makes draining the oil from your drain pan a simple, no mess, no tools needed process. I have used them on multiple vehicles for a combined use of over 100,000 miles with no failures.

Perfect fit makes oil changes quick easy and CLEAN
I always hated how much of a mess doing an oil change would cause. This quick drain has changed the game, it doesn’t leak if installed correctly it’s easy to just pipe the old oil into the pan directly making absolutely no mess. I prefer this over the ez drain valve as with the 5-30 in my truck the valve would leak this even if it does have a small leak the cap is sealed so you can only lose ~2oz of oil through it.

Fit My 2007 Honda CR-V (Size M14-1.50)
The item was exactly as described and fit the 2007 Honda CR-V.It is made from stainless steel which means bolt, EZ Drain tool and cap will last and installing it was easy because it is the same as putting the original oil pan bolt back in. It should make draining the oil pan a cleaner process in the future (although I won't know for sure if that is true for 6 months). However, I am not sure about the washer that goes against the oil pan. It has a rubber o-ring in the center of it, presumably to stop leaks, but I wonder how long before it deteriorates and starts leaking. On my next oil change I may remove the drain bolt and replace the washer with the Honda recommended crush washer just to be safe. The EZ drain tool looks/feels cheap where the hose attaches, and the hose is only about 6 inches long. The hose should be a minimum 12 inches long and better yet, they should have designed the EZ drain tool to allow for a hose to be replaced/attached by the end user. The stainless-steel cap is attached with a piece of rubber and one has to wonder how long the rubber will last. Not a big deal because the only purpose of the piece of rubber is to keep track of the cap during oil changes and/or if it comes unscrewed during travel but a stainless steel chain would have been a better choice. After installing this on my vehicle I think this thing is overpriced by $15-$20. It should be $25-$30 not $45 and if I had to do it all over, I would not buy it at the $45 price point. I may change my opinion when I do my first oil change with this installed, but I doubt it.

Oil changing without the mess and setup
What a neat drain plug that replaces your original plug that makes changing your oil easy and much less messy. You’ll have to drain your oil the old way FIRST then after that you’ll never have to do it again.Simply unscrew the cap, install the stem and hose gizmo and drain right in your container without splashing oil unnecessarily.

Allrigh!
Good quick oil tool. It's also restricts flow a bit so it's filling up your drain pan not as fast what is a good thing. Worth a try!
