This toy was my sons favorite! But it was not built very well and was in pieces within a week! My son wanted to drive it off things and it was definitely not meant for a young boy.

This is such a great toy for indoor or outdoors. My grandson just loves it and can't play with it enough !!

This item was used and DID NOT specify that it was. The original box was beat up and falling apart. I finally go to open it and realize the antenna for the remote is missing. Granite a 9 volt battery was included but the car doesnt move without the antenna. im very disappointed that i have to go thru a whole nother transaction all because of an antenna!! I just bought my nephew one for christmas and was trying to buy another so we can race each other, but the car is useless without the antenna. will be sending back soon.

While the control may take some getting used to for an adult that has used other remote control cars in the past our 3-year-old immediately figured it out and was able to use it. The car is just the right speed for him. The one piece that seems really vulnerable to breakage is the antenna on the remote control, but it works fine with the antenna collapsed which greatly reduces the probability of a small child bending or snapping it off.

If you read the 1-star reviews, they'll let you know that this is a cheaply made, difficult to control RC car. This is true.Our 2-year old son had a blast with it, simply because it's more likely to spin out, than go in a straight line. With a typical RC car, he drives it into a wall, gets it stuck, picks it up and moves it, and then repeats this for a few minutes before giving up. With this, he loves to drive it around flipping, spinning, completely out of control all the time.Did we break it? Yes. I've had to super glue some piece of it about once a week for the 3 weeks that we've had it. I added some duck tape (supplement cheap Chinese plastic, with the strongest material known to man...) to my super glue last time, and it seems to be holding up quite well since then.So, yes, if you crash this a lot, it will probably break, but for the amount of fun that a little one can have with it, and considering the bargain basement price, I'd give it a cautious recommendation - especially if you know your way around a tube of super glue and a roll of duck tape.

My 2.5 yr old grandson went crazy for this toy. He went outside with his daddy and was driving it around the driveway. In less than a few hours, it simply stopped working right. The steering stopped working. It would only go in circles. Then it stopped all together. He's so sad. I came on to Amazon to buy him another one and see that others have been so disappointed by the lack of quality of this item so perhaps I just will not get him another one. Not sure where my mom bought it, not Amazon but had we seen these reviews first, I would not have allowed her to waster her money.

My son got two rc vehicles made from this company (Merch Source LLC) for his birthday 3 days ago, and neither of them worked right. The thunder tumbler could not even drive on our low-pile carpet or manage the slight bump going from our hard kitchen floor to the carpet. And then the antenna on the remote broke off within an hour and now won't work at all. The RC Robot Car never worked, not at all, out of the box. The company has no email support, just a phone number 1 800 374-2744. I hope the can send me some new antennas (at least they screw in and out) but, to be honest, I am not that hopeful. Even when the car works, it should have more power... it is very feeble. I'll call them tomorrow. Wish me luck.
