Supremo Italiano Oil Cured Moroccan Olives 1 Gallon

Delicious oil and salt cured black olives. Adds an amazing umami flavor to salads and pasta (yum, putanesca) sauces. Very good in ratatouille, but add at the very end of the cooking or use as a condiment. Great addition to tapas. Keeps a very long time if kept in cool and dark storage. I've eaten the last of a container after a year and they were delicious.

Inconsistent. Mostly good, typical for this type (my favorite) of olive. But, sometimes a few of them have an off taste. They can impart a fuzzy feeling to the sides of the back of the tongue. In Tucson, Arizona, they're very difficult to find. So, I'm willing to overlook this rare annoyance.

I thought they tasted as good as I have had, and the price was good. This is the second time I bought them, and I am sure not the last.

The olives tasted like rancid oil and plastic...awful,awful taste..threw them in the trash...I bought the smaller glass bottles at the grocery store and they tasted great...but are expensive...thought I got a deal buying in bulk, but ended wasting money...don’t buy,there nasty...!

I love this type of olive. The flavor is very salty and slightly bitter and not for everyone, but I add a few to a salad. I like finding the surprise. Just don't forget they have pits that easily remove when you apply pressure.

These olives are delicious. Some people find them overly salty, but taste is personal (and a certain amount of saltiness is unavoidable in olives). Oil-cured olives are also a bit messy on the hands. We eat them with a creamy cheese and crusty bread (a soft chevre, for example), drizzled with olive oil, and they're quite satisfying.

These are somewhat less meaty than some others I've had but pretty good for the price.

I love these olives. Wonderful flavor. They will last me quite a while. They were a wonderful buy!
