I Wrote This For You and Only You Paperback – March 1, 2015

I just love this author and I really suggest anyone who likes poetry to pick up or I guess buy one of his books

This book is an easy read but offers such a deep dive into yourself & opens the door of serious contemplation.

A combination of beautiful words and beautiful pictures. It’s very easy to relate to love, lost, pain and heart-break. I found myself putting sticky notes on so many pictures to reference back quickly when I’m in need

These books have honestly changed my life. I have not been the same since discovering them. The thoughts and the simplicity in them while being complex is so spot on how my mind works. I keep all of his books around me at all times because I never know when I might get the urge to open one and read for a few minutes. I honor and admire this author so so much. And these books are my friends.

There were more repeats of the first and second book but some new material too. Wish it was all new material but then it would be a really short book.

I'm a big fan of Mr. Thomas' work. I own every single book he's published, and each time I purchase a new one, the words continue to get deeper and more personal. Every single poem is breathtakingly beautiful, and I've found myself able to relate to each and every one in some way, whether it be big or small.

Some works weren't amazing but others really truly struck me. I definitely highlighted a good amount. Overall I truly enjoyed this collection and I know I'd recommend certain pieces to people but I don't know about the entire collection.

Everything Iain writes speaks directly to the reader. It's amazing how each person is able to derive their own personal experience from his words, and feel as though he has written it just for you. I carry his books where ever I go, and they always seem to contain the right words to soothe my soul in any given situation. Thank you for sharing your gift, Iain.

Brought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves poetry and he really appreciated this, very beautiful to touch/look at, the photos are very nice and the poems give it a beautifully dark atmosphere.

The very breath, the very intonation; he has the memories I would have had, if he would have had me remember them

This book has lines of poetry accompanied by a photo. On kindle the photo doesn’t show up well so it didn’t add much. The poetry varies between the sort of thing you see in trite Facebook memes to some that are quite profound. Worth a try.
