Great replacement for my HP laptop charging cord.
My chocolate lab chewed the old charging cord in half so I had to reorder this one. It works perfectly.

Good replacement
Inexpensive option to replace original unit. works well. Has light on side like the original to indicate connecton. Microsoft wants almost $100 for their unit but it stopped working in about a year.

Worked well for about a year...
I don't understand why these chargers have such a short expiration time, but I guess for the price, this charger did exactly as it advertised. About a month ago, the charger would take a few tries and adjustments to get the charge to work, but just yesterday, the charger had finally stopped working. I guess this will just be my yearly purchase since these chargers were poorly designed :(

This charger is better than the one that came with my laptop
I had this overnighted after I realized that I had left the charger that came with my surface pro at home. I needed my laptop for a presentation I was giving, and I hadn’t charged it the day before I left, so I had very little juice left. This charger works just as well as the original one that came with my surface pro, it has a USB port on the brick, the end that plugs into the laptop is magnetic and lights up when plugged in, it also looks almost identical to my original charger, and it came with an awesome optional attachment that allows me to plug the brick directly into a wall so that I don’t have to worry about having the excess cord taking up desk space or laying on the ground, making a tripping hazard when I’m right next to the outlet. It even comes with a convenient bag for storage. If I ever need to buy another charger, I will go for one of these instead of an expensive Microsoft made one!

Buyer beware! -- DEFECTIVE PRODUCT; warranty is NOT honored!
I purchased this, thinking it would be a good value. However, the charger stopped working after several months when the cable frayed, after light use. I contacted the seller for a replacement, and one was sent. However, a couple months later, this replacement charger stopped working. This time, I was unable to contact the seller, and Amazon's customer service line told me to contact the manufacturer, and gave me a contact email. I did this and included a copy of my device invoice, and the manufacturer replied "I'm sorry, I did not find this order number,Please contact the seller via Amazon, Log in to Amazon, check the order, contact the seller". I followed this cycle again, and then was told to call a number in China for the seller. Either way, I spent several hours trying to resolve this issue, and have 2 defective chargers to show for it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!
