Comets and the Horns of Moses (The Secret History of the World)

A GREAT read AND extremely informative!
In this second volume of a series that began with the book 'The Secret History of The World' Laura Knight-Jadczyk continues to cut through the 'official' version of history which she shows is clearly nothing more then a myth to cover up the facts relating to cyclic cometary bombardments throughout history. She says in the introduction:" As we explore the details of many different histories, myths and personalities, the reader should keep in mind that there is a line of force running through all of what you will read: how cyclical cosmic cataclysms, specifically cometary events, have systematically punctuated the rise and fall and civilizations, and have had a direct and serious influence on human history and how it has been recorded (or not recorded, as the case may be). In addition, you will discover how the human population may exert a crucial influence on those cyclical cometary events and how, and why, over the course of history, this crucial knowledge was progressively twisted and ultimately erased from human memory."The Powers That Be, that is, the control system, have intentionally distorted our history by covering up critical FACTS relating to the periodic 'fiery serpents' of cometary bombardments that have catastrophically affected the history of this planet and the power system has (intentionally) made history a hodge podge of unconnected events, covered up facts, distorted facts, omitted facts and outright lies so that the illusion can be maintained that they have omnipotent power and that it is only they who can 'protect' us, when in reality, when it comes to these cometary bombardments throughout history as this book so clearly points out, the controllers of this planet have NO power whatsoever and in reality they are as helpless as a turtle on its back or as helpless as a city without walls under heavy attack!Clearly they do not want us to prepare for such events that are the most significant events in our historic past since many of these comets are not seen until it's too late as, for example, the recent event that has occurred in Chelyabinsk Russia where an incoming meteoric fragment electrically discharged, broke apart, and exploded overhead like an overcharged capacitor with the approximate force of (it is said) about 30 atomic bombs. For this reason Laura's books, especially in this series (and more coming!) are the most important books ever written since they speak of the most important events in our history (that have been covered up) and the information presented in this book is gathered by a first rate researcher, and like a great detective she is able to get to the heart of the matter in whatever subject she chooses to investigate and she has a unique, innate ability to find those little pearls of facts in her extraordinary research that others have missed and assemble them into a true "line of force" that factually shows and accurately represents our historic past and what we are headed for in the very near future. There's a lot more in this book, my little review here does not give this book justice. She also incorporates within this book the "complementary fields of research: history, myths and religions, psychology and physics" in following this line of force (as Laura states in the introduction) which includes the basics of plasma physics, how Einstein's widely accepted mathematical models using only 'mind experiments' (divorced of observable data) became accepted 'reality' in the highest levels of our learning institutions with his General Relativity theory totally dismissing the electrical nature of our universe that an electrical engineer will understand using basic electrical equations that, although may contain complex variables are still grounded in reality when analyzing, designing, and building testable/workable electronic circuits and systems. The book also covers basic information theory (very interesting!), the origin of astrology, comets in mythology, the Greek philosophers and what they knew and how they are intertwined with these cosmic catastrophes in "recreating" civilization as if they invented it, the stoic philosophers who preserved some of the information pertaining to the periodic destruction of previous cultures due to cometary bombardments and much more. This book was written with simplicity and is EXTREMELY informative. I could not put this book down until I finished reading it. A must read!

Wow! Awsome read.
I just finished reading and really enjoying this second volume in the Secret History series of Laura Knight-Jadzcyk, so my impressions are as fresh as they are hot.First off, it's not absolutely necessary to have read the previous volume as this one stands on its own feet, but it certainly does help every now and then to be already acquainted along other ways with the subject matter now further elaborated here, expanded upon and explained in a completely new and unexpected fashion. Also, a similar remark can be made about her recently published separate volume about comets and so on entitled: The Apocalypse: Comets, Asteroids and Cyclical Catastrophes, which provides some necessary background of a different kind. At times, that comes in handy as well.Anyway, while reading the current volume it suddenly dawned on me why our modern sciences concerning weather systems, climate change and the like still are named with the ancient term Meteorology. This book explains exhaustively why this naming was not in the least accidental, as cosmic fragments of all sorts and sizes have played a decisive role in the fall of several ancient civilizations. It also explains how this naming seems somehow to have slipped by under the radar so to speak, as abundant evidence is provided for diverse historical processes of censoring and suppressing or distorting, ridiculing and discarding this even now still very relevant knowledge, including the proponents thereof -- some of whom have been murdered or got otherwise killed for the public dissemination of same. More detailed information about all that will be revealed in the next volumes of this series and I'm really looking forward to those installments which will further develop the story that has been just started here, mainly by performing the groundwork and laying down the foundations. However, the main thrust of this volume concerns itself with a detailed overview of one specific historical process of distorting and suppressing knowledge about our 'cosmic link' by guiding us through the early developments of ancient Greek philosophy and natural science. Although the names of all those ancient figureheads are sometimes as confusing as the characters in a Russian novel, Laura proves herself to be the perfect guide in these matters: never forgetting her overarching main themes, never drowning us in too many unnecessary details, still always highlighting the most relevant sticking points and including all the subtle nuances within every position. It's just mere history of course, but she succeeds in bringing all those ancient controversies and their champions to actual life as if you were reading the weekend papers or some magazines with monthly reviews about the latest in cultural and scientific affairs, complete with some juicy gossip when needed. Great class! In more respects than one, I might add. This book absolutely is a must read for the aficionados of the subject matter. All those who are not such when they start to read it regardless, still will become thus eventually, even way before they have finished it. Over the years Laura has developed a very accessible, let's say Conan Doyle like way of almost casually writing about complex matters and nevertheless thoroughly explaining their intricacies, unraveling Gordian knots, sorting out different threads without breaking them and sleuthing sheer insolvable puzzles like a real life Sherlock Holmes -- permitting us readers, just like "dear Watson", to get all the clues, to follow the whole process of reasoning and to be gladly around when the final solutions are about to be revealed.Packaged in this fashion learning certainly is fun. To be continued, I hope.

Phenomenal
Rarely do I stumble upon such a ground breaking, well researched, logical and thought-provoking piece of work. Although it may require a lot of prerequisite reading to 100% understand, it is a very readable text even for a beginner to ancient history.Contained in this book is probably the closest thing to the "whole banana" that we have right now, regarding just what is going on, how we got here, and what it means to be a human alive today in this seemingly crazy world. If you'd like a brand new, refreshing perspective on the origins of religion, cyclical catastrophes, and just what on earth are those fireballs in the sky today, I highly recommend reading this.

Exceptional!
Astronomy, astrology, history, mythology, psychology... alongside a good amount of other -ologies, all can be found in this compilation in a manner rarely encountered. It is an easy, engaging read, an unearthing of data, from beginning to end - shedding light on Cosmic mysteries, worldwide corruption & humanity's place therein.Laura Knight-Jadczyk connects the pieces of the puzzle seamlessly &, as in Secret History Volume 1, offers a plethora of evidence in her research. This volume deals eloquently with currently held perceptions of the past, present & future, aiming to present an objective evaluation.A timeless rendition & an eye-opener.Quite quickly becoming one of my favourite reads.

comet ye faithful
I am sure there is some truth in the theories presented in this book and they make sense on one level but I had the feeling it just got taken a bit too far to relate all of the ancient myths presented in this book with cyclic catastrophes and comets. But this book is well worth reading and has to be respected for the amount of research that has been done on the subject. I think after reading Laura's first installment of the secret history of the world it's well worth reading this second volume as I am sure there will be more to come in this series.

Part 2!
A very good, informative book and I found it a lot easier to read that the author's Secret History of the World ....The only issue is that the book refers a lot to Secret History and this book (Moses) is volume 2 of Secret HistoryI don't think it matters too much in that you do not need to read volume 1 to get a lot out of this bookHowever I do feel that I now need to go back and read Secret History againThis book also has a lot of references to further details that will appear in volume 3 - which I assume has not been published yet and when it is published it probably will not be called volume 3 either!
