Review: Great netting for DIY projects - Used this for a nonconventional purpose. Built my son a playpen out of pvc pipe and used this as the net that wraps around the playpen. Works great for babies. Cut off the floaters and weights hanging from the sides and cut it down the middle so that I had two 12×2 pieces of net. Worked absolutely perfectly and for a decent price. If you need netting similar to pack and play netting for any purpose whatsoever, this netting is a good price and good quality. No complaints.

**Q: What is the spacing of the weights?**
A: I am not sure because I added a bunch of weights to keep it tight to the bottom. Where I use it I was having trouble with the minnows getting out of the bottom.

**Q: what are the dimensions of net?**
A: depends on the size you bought  mine is 4'x12'x1/4'' holes.

**Q: Is this a cast net o**
A: This is a flat net with poles that you scoop minnows.

**Q: does this slide onto poles and can I order the poles?**
A: It actually ties to the poles.  You can order the poles but they are a little pricey.  I was sort of disappointed when I saw them.  I think 1 inch PVC with holes drilled in it would work as well or better (and much cheaper).

Okay net, much smaller than you would expect and the size makes it difficult for actually seining - would recommend a larger size in the future. Although the net seems fairly sturdy/durable the weights on the bottom are completely useless and you will have to attach your own if you intend on using this net. The current alone can easily kick up the net from the bottom allowing any creature to swim underneath so make sure to add some personal weights if you intend on being successful.
