So Far So Good!
I recently installed the pads on my vehicle, and so far, I’m really impressed with them. You can tell that these are high-quality pads from the minute you open the box. The fit was perfect, and the installation process was easy—definitely a plus for anyone who works on their own vehicles. One of the interesting features of these brake pads is that they are "hybrid". I actually didn't even realize that when I bought them but once I did, I am liking this feature. They combine the benefits of both semi-metallic and ceramic materials, which gives you the best of both worlds in terms of performance, durability, and lack of dust.I will say though, I did notice that the braking response is more like ceramic pads, which means they do take a bit longer to stop compared to the semi-metallic options. This wasn’t something I anticipated, and it required a slight adjustment in my driving style. That said, the overall braking performance feels solid, and I trust that the longevity of these pads will make up for the initial adjustment period.I do feel like these brake pads are a fantastic product that delivers on quality and ease of installation. Just be aware that they may not have the immediate stopping power of metallic pads if you're not used to that. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these pads to anyone looking for reliable performance and decent longevity in their brake system!

EHT Pads + Fleet MetLok Rotors = Perfection!
Amazon shipped me what seemed to be returned pads, they were not shrink wrapped together like usual and they had chipped chunks taken out of them from banging around on each other in shipping so I had to return this set. Which Amazon did no problem. Unfortunantly I needed to install them the same-day they arrived, so I found a local parts store that had these in stock (at DOUBLE the price tho), so I still got it done. Even though Amazon's delivery dates are usually spot on, give yourself sometime ahead getting parts to make sure they are correct, unused, and undamaged.I won't knock a star on the pads due to an Amazon issue. These are still 5 star pads. I have been using these for years on Chevy 1500 and 2500 Trucks. I do alot of heavy towing and use EHT pads coupled with Fleet Metlok Rotors, and it is by far the best combination of stopping power, low dust, and basically no brake fade. They always feel the same no matter the driving conditions.I have tried Akebono, AC Delco, Powerstop Z36 Tow, Brembo OE, and Bosch on these Chevy's over the years, and nothing is as consistent as the EHT & Metlok combo!Everyone online raves about the Z36, and they worked 'ok' for the first half of their (short) lifecycle, then fall off very fast, and end up just making crazy brake dust, noise, and destroying rotors. I think most of the Z36 reviews are immediately after installing and seem good because they do bite real hard in the beginning, but that is only because they are destroying themselves to do it. I had them a few times on different trucks and I wanted to be a fanboy, but they are just overpriced chinese 'performance brakes' with good marketing. The Akebono's are real good on street trucks that don't tow/haul, but once you start pulling heavy loads they fade pretty quickly. The highest end AC Delco Professional's work great and last a long long time, even towing, but do fade some in the Mountains and high speed stopping. They would be my second choice but are by far the most expensive option. The Powerstop Z36 'truck and tow' are WAY overhyped, do not fall for it. If you tow/haul or do mountain driving in your Chevy Truck give the EHT pad and Fleet Metlok rotor combo a try! (I used to overlook them both because they were so inexpensive, I though paying more got more. But I was wrong, I am extremely hard on brakes and this combo has proven itself to me over and over!)***No matter what brakes you buy, always make sure your slide pins and boots are ABSOLUTLY PERFECT or NEW and ONLY use a TINY layer SILICONE brake grease on the pins ( NEVER EVER USE ANY OTHER TYPE OF 'BRAKE' GREASE).. Also, ALWAYS do BREAK-IN on the pads/rotors, 20-30 medium speed stops with 30secs in between, then be real nice to the brakes for the first 100 miles, then you can beat the **** out of them after that! I don't care who or what install sheet says there is no need to bed in any brand of brakes, you NEED to MATE THEM AND WEAR THEM TOGETHER after install IF YOU WANT the best possible long term CONSISTANTSY, lifespan, and quiet operation. Also this is based on CHEVY TRUCKS! Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, Escalade, Express, Savana, Suburban, Avalanche, Tahoe, etc... I cannot speak on these personally for any other vehicles.

2007 Acura TL better pedal feel than traditional ceramic pads
Installed these on my 2007 Acura TL. They came with the brake hardware which is a must considering the pads will bind if the hardware is dirty or rusted. I personally like the feel of semi metallic brake pads over ceramic, however i do not like the black brake dust that gets on my rims. I have most recently run akebono brake pads which are great, but don't have the pedal feel i love about high quality semi-metallic pads. Semi metallic pads pull heat away from the rotor better in hot conditions, they perform better than ceramics in the cold, and they "bite" sooner and with less effort than ceramics. However they can be noisier and cause black brake dust. These Raybestos hybrid element 3 pads are not a mixture of a ceramic and semi-metallic, they are made of a new combination of elements that have the stopping power of semi metallic pads with the cleanliness and smooth quietness of ceramics. I personally do not like the performance of traditional ceramic pads when finessing the brake pad, they do not "bite" when pressing the pedal lightly. These pads are silent smooth, yet i do not have to mash on the pedal as hard as i do with ceramic pads to get them to feel good. My favorite thing about these pads is the pedal feel, they are amazing, again they grab/bite the rotor much sooner and with less pedal effort than traditional ceramic pads, which gives you a much better range of braking for more spirited driving or braking into turns. In all, these pads have the awesome responsiveness of semi metallic pads without the noise and brake dust. Awesome product, absolutely silent!
