This thing worked just as planned! We used it on our rv road trip and it gave us much needed electricity and charging power when we needed it on the road!

Took this on one trip so far. Only got to use it once, but not the fault of the manufacturer. I bought this because I wanted it to charge a Nintendo Switch and DS on a long car trip. When I did use it, it stayed pretty cool while charging two items (iPhone 6s and iPod Touch). It charged my iPhone 6s more slowly than my car does, but it charged the 2nd Gen iPod Touch my son uses quickly. Sitting on top of the short console between the two front seats, the USB charging cord for the iPod touch could easily reach the second row seats of my Honda Odyssey minivan. This allowed my son to listen to his iPod while it was charging. The only problem was, when I wasn't looking, my spouse plugged a 20 ft. extension cord into it and tried to run a hot glue gun. This (predictably) blew the fuse. So we did not get to enjoy this inverter on the 8 hour trip home.I strongly suggest buying a package of replacement fuses for your vehicle and a throw an old pair of needlenose pliers into your glovebox. That way if the fuse blows on your car trip, you can easily replace it. It is very easy once you figure out where the correct fuse is located. I watched a video on youtube. The replacement fuses for my 2015 Honda Odyssey were blue Low Profile Mini 58VDC Silver 15A fuses. The fuse for the front console cigarette lighter/outlet is located on the passenger side interior. But that is probably unique to my make/model of car. Your car manual should have the location and type of fuse you will need. The fuses are a dollar each but I bought a 5 pack lest this happens again.

I have an original Aerobed mattress, the kind that comes with an inflation device that needs to be plugged into a wall outlet. The company does not make a car-portable device and generic ones aren't compatible so I was at a loss as to how I was going to take this mattress camping. I read product review after review and couldn't find one that specifically mentioned the Aerobed brand, but the reviews for this one at least mentioned a separate inflation device rather than a self-inflating one so I thought it was worth a shot and tested it out before our trip. I like that the cord disconnects from the unit so there isn't wear on it when not in use. The cord is short and I DO NOT recommend using an extension cord if you don't know whether or not the voltage will be compatible. Fortunately for us a queen size air mattress fits through the door of our 6-person tent and the Aerobed device has a 5-foot cord so we could just inflate it by the car. Overall this product solved our problem and it's the only thing I'll be using it for. I suggest leaving your car running before, during and after using it so you don't blow a fuse or kill your battery.

Recently went on a road trip to Disney in Florida from Dallas. Used this for two phones, a tablet and a Nintendo Switch. It worked great! We even left it plugged in on accident while we stopped and ate away from the truck (which I don’t recommend because I’m sure it’s not great for the battery). Once we left it plugged in over night and it auto turned off, which was awesome! It will get pretty warm so make sure you keep it somewhere that it will get ventilation and somewhere you will remember it so you unplug it. 100% recommend!

This product worked for 2 minutes. It blew a fuse while we were using it in the car for our babies bottle warmer. It was intended to be used in a long car ride so we did not have to find a place to warm up his bottle. It was useless after it stopped working 2 min into warming a bottle. Would not recommend this at all.

Bought for a major road trip. Worked great. I do think you can only charge a couple things at once or it takes forever though. But I liked not having to keep taking cords on and off. And the usb c plug is super fast for charging newer iPhones.

I don’t like that the cords stared coming out and now it does not work at all

Update 5/24/19:After contacting Bestek about what happened, I'm shocked by their customer service...It is amazing! Not only did they quickly refund my item but they refunded the cost of the USB-c too. No wrangling, no stalling, no nothing. I'm so impressed with how well they stand behind their warranty that I already bought another inverter (not this one) and made sure it was a Bestek. It's been a long time since I've received service like this. I'm still in shock a little bit...and a shout-out to my customer service agent, Monika, you get 10 stars! This update is solely because of your awesome service. Thank you!Original:I'm writing this from the car. The thing just melted the original USB-c wire that came with my phone! Those are expensive, more than that my car smells like burned rubber and I burned my hand grabbing this thing. Only my phone was charging, a Pixel 3 XL. This thing should have been able to handle it. I bought this I January 2019. It should never melt down but especially not after 3 months. My kids were in the car when it melted. Not good.

Arrived very quickly however I bought this inverter to run tv in my camper and there is pretty bad feed back causeing the sound to be fuzzy I have tried multiple power sources with no change I'm a little disappointed because there were lots of good reviews

Me gusto mucho la construcción y acabados de este producto. Superaba por mucho a unos que se veian francamente chinos de mala calidad por el mismo precio, es silencioso y lo uso para convertir de celdas solares a energia normal y funciona perfectamente. Se ve muy robusto aunque se que es para traerlo en el carro.

Easy to use, works well. We use it for road trips and camping when we need to charge a few more devices than normal, and it does the job.The build doesn't feel very sturdy/solid, but doesn't feel cheap either.I was a little disappointed in the charging speeds. Should have paid more attention to amps though I guess.

I bought this because I need multiple devices in my vehicle. Also have Uber passengers who want a cord to recharge their phone. I bought a 6ft cable and it works well.No fan noise.Inconspicuous.
