ASICS Men's Gel-Kayano 26 Running Shoes

I generally do not spend what the price of this pair of running shoes is advertised at. BUT, I have a size 14 flat-foot and my ankles have my feet rolling inward. This was supposed to provide good support and be specific to the way my feet roll in. The minute I put them on and took a few steps, I was sold. They fit perfect. The support is very good. They are indeed comfortable. I wear steel-toed work boots at work which are heavy and tire my feet. These running shoes are a joy compared to them. I do a lot of walking as most of us do when going out to shop or to assorted events. These running shoes don't tire my feet out and I can get in a lot of walking. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

After 15 years of wearing NB 99x shoes, I have found something I like better. While the NB 99x series has been a comfortable shoe, I never got more than 6 months out of them before the sole started to smell bad and began to separate. I have been using this pair of Asics for daily wear for 5 months and they still look brand new after a gentle wash. The comfort and support is as good or better than the 993's. I am probably rougher on shoes than most people and I am amazed at how well these have held up. They are light weight and breath very well. One word of caution to anyone wearing these while climbing ladders of scaffolding. They have a very hard plastic section right in the arch on the bottom of the sole. If that hard plastic part comes in contact with metal such as a ladder rung or scaffold rail, you will slip. I still wear them doing that type of work because they are so comfortable. I just make sure to use the front or rear of the shoe where I get good grip.

I was not sure I would like buying running shoes online. However, I have had a pair of Asics previously and thought as long as I could find shoes for over pronators (my running style based on having flat feet) and a size 13 Wide, I might be okay. Well, one thing for sure is I can never find 13 Wide shoes at the store so, I settle on 13s (14s are too big) and loosen the laces. Fortunately, online Asics had 13 Wide shoes, so I bought them. However, Asics cancelled my initial order because they were not in stock. I thought I might give Asics another try and I found a pair that I liked more than the previous purchase and I received it in a timely manner. I love these shoes, they are comfortable, look good, and I cannot wait to get up in the morning and put them on to go running. I highly recommend these shoes for over pronators.

They helped with running so I thought I'd use these as walking shoes as well. Don't..just don't. You really begin to feel the arch padding as you walk..which is why in think these are so good for running. When your foot hits the ground hard enough to compress the arch, there isn't any pain or uncomfortable feeling. The pain will only occur if you choose to walk in them. Only RUN with these shoes on. Going to spend a few more months testing these out. Time will tell.

I love working out in the gym and recently started running distances of about 3-10km long.This shoe is very comfortable with quite tough supination when casually walking, but the supination becomes more comfy when the impact on the sole is higher. Works like magic.This is my first ASICS and particularly Gel Kayano shoe. My previous experience was more Nike oriented with Epic react, Lunarglide 4, Vomero 5.Love this one.

I have weak ankles...always have due to clubbed foot surgeries as a child. I am not a runner, but I bought these shoes because they were recommended for ankle stability, and they did not disappoint. These are low top shoes, so they aren't actually providing support around the ankle (I wasn't expecting that they would), but the way the heal is shaped, keeps my foot/ankle in line when I take steps. The contour of the bottom of the shoe is designed to correct over pronation, and while I don't really have arch problems, the way this shoe holds my foot in place and guides my step so my ankle operates in a straight line feels very solid. I highly recommend these shoes!! Also, my wife loves the look/style of the Sheet Rock/Mako Blue colors. NOTE: These shoes fit 1/2 size smaller than other shoes, but I knew that going in, so I bought 1/2 size up.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable and stand up to daily wear of 10-12 hours a day. My feet used to hurt after shifts at work wearing other shoes, but these were comfortable and alleviated foot pain after long shifts on my feet for 10-12 hours at a time.

My husband always buys the same brand of running shoe (ASICS Men's Gel-Kayano), so I find it easy to just order these online through Amazon. I just make sure to order the same size and width as he always wears, and there is never an issue. These new 26s were as expected and fit the same as all his previous ones. There was a bit of a delay in receiving them, but I guess that was to be expected given it was during the holiday period. No issues or differences in this newer model.

I found it highly comfortable and great for long hours of use. I am using it for full day and when come back to home, doesn't feel like getting rid of shoes immediately like I used to do before. Feet does not hurt anymore as I have big toe joint pain and bunion. Recommended.

Comfy but within a week of wearing them (around 7k steps a week day) one of the sections of grip has peeled off

Ich habe den Schuh nun schon das zweite Mal bestellt, da ich noch nicht bereit bin den vollen Preis für die neuen Kayano 27 zu zahlen - der Schuh ist einfach Klasse und auch für diesen Preis bei Amazon. Knie tuen nie weh, schöne aber durchaus sportliche Dämpfung. Hatte die auch letztes Jahr beim Halbmarathon dabei.Rundum - super Schuh, leicht und vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis super. Was besseres kann man seinem Körper nicht antuen - tun Sie das auch für sich!

Me ha encantado, es tal y cual me esperaba. Muy cómoda la zapatilla y con buenas sensaciones.
