Deft Interior Exterior Water-Based Polyurethane Semi-Gloss Finish, Quart

This is our favorite varnish. Hard to find as a water-based product. No other products are as satisfying to use.

Nice product. Levels well, dries fast and not too glossy (semi-gloss). Nice and smooth with a foam brush on a frurniture project.The most important trick that I discovered was to avoid too much brushing. Just lay it down slowly in a long row and then get rid of bubbles by immediately lightly drawing over the row with the tip of the brush. Then STOP. It dries quickly enough that re-brushing after even five minutes will roughen the coat.I had good luck with light sanding between coats with 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper and water. It sanded well after 6 hours.

Used it in an HVLP sprayer. Misted just fine and coverage was fine. Not to sure about the melding into an even sheen. Definitely needs 220 or 320 scuffing in between coats and a healthy rub out afterwards. Very hard finish, durable and takes more punishment than lacquer. Dries quickly as advertised. will take some practice to get the settings on the gun tuned for vertical and horizontal spraying.

Good product. Only drawback is that it didn't dry and set up as hard as I expected it too. Very easy clean up with soap and water. Just stir well but gently with every use. This actually goes much further then I thought it would. I used this to seal a bathroom counter top. The counter did chip in a few places and I applied 4 layers.

I'm a fine finisher for our custom door company and I've been using this product for about 4 years now and I am nothing but pleased with this product! Lays/fans out nicely, has a great build (mill), doesn't yellow over time, dries fast, easy cleanup, and just a few of the descriptions of it. It can be used with spray gun (best results), hi-nap roller, or even a fine bristle brush and it will lay out nicely.

I bought this finish because I assumed since it was water based the VOC's were low but whoa this stuff is potent. If I have to wear a respirator for finishing I prefer oil based products. I will still use it and hopefully it leaves a nice finish but will definitely need to wear breathing protection.

Bought this to apply to my patio furniture and has been holding up pretty well. I like the water base because there is no yellowing like the oil base. Also light coats go a long way. Very satisfied

Very easy to use, dries fast, hard finish, and leaves no brush marks. Highly recommended.
