Adjustable Natural Wood Desktop Bookshelf Bamboo Desk Storage Organizer Display Shelf Rack, Counter Top Bookcase

Bought this as a quick fix for organizing a secondary home office. Bought two. One to hold the monitor up at eye level, and the other to support the laptop and organize my small items and papers. Works great.Now.. the assembly part. I understand that a lot of people do not have woodworking skills or own tools. That's okay. I was still surprised that some reviewers had such trouble with this. This shelf unit is EASILY put together with a phillips head screwdriver. Period. Use a good solid one, and one that fits the screw heads. The "screwdriver" that comes with this unit is really just a very small allen wrench with a small phillips head on one end. I would not use this. Ever.The holes are not only pre-drilled for you, they are also recessed on one side so the screw heads can fit inside and be flush with the wood.You DO NOT need power tools, or Captain America to do this for you (although that would be really awesome).I put this unit together in about 5 minutes while it was sitting on my lap. Please note that screws (in any project) have to go in STRAIGHT. Otherwise, they're not in correctly. That's really it. I just wanted to let new potential buyers know that the assembly part is SO much easier than others wrote.Also, the sturdiness is great, the construction fit is tight, and I'm glad I got them. It was an easy and fast fix to clean up / organize my work office area without spending a lot of time or money. Totally worth it.

This will provide some extra room on a 1950s wooden desk being converted to an electronics workbench. The wood and finish are nice and everything fits together without flexing. It is helpful to have an adjustable width so some small parts drawers can fit next to it on the desktop.The screws and predrilled holes all match for a sturdy fit; the provided screwdriver's tip is too small and its small diameter handle does not provide enough leverage with the tight screwholes. A multitool with a Phillips bit matching the screwhead slots worked well.A C-clamp from the back or thick double stick tape will help to hold the two pieces together after reaching a final width. Finish with anti-slip buttons on the bottom where it touches the wood desktop.

First off, I think I just drew the short straw on the one I got sent to me and that's okay. Things happen. The product is sturdy and the bamboo looks amazing. I found it easy to assembly (but I used a screwdriver instead of the allen wrench). However, I think my guide screw holes were off. I can't get both pieces to lay flush like I wanted it to even though the screws are as tight as I can get them. It's not super terrible and if I stack them in a longer formation, it's disguise-able. But I really wanted them in a specific formation and it's just not doing it for me with the gaping. I'm going to send it back and ask for a replacement.

These shelves were easy to put together - as other reviewers have recommended, I used my own standard screwdriver instead of the tool with the kit, and it was a snap! I love that the shelves can be reconfigured as desired, and they seem to be capable of holding quite a decent amount of weight - I've got plants and crystals on the top shelves and they haven't wobbled at all. Because the layout is customizable, it's easy to set up exactly the sort of display you need for your purposes - in my case, I was setting up an art and reading nook, and I wanted wooden shelves that would complement the end tables. I'm strongly considering buying more for my living room!

This is a great product for any place you need to add a little bit of organization. I use it on my desk, but you could use this just about anywhere as it is not overly bigger and could be used even in shelf gaps. I ended up picking a configuration and then used the extra screw to make it permanent so it didn't shift or move on me. Great price for a great product.

This is a well made unit. Sturdy. My only suggestions is there be some sort of fastener to keep the two pieces together where one side must rest on the other piece. If either of the individual sides move the supported piece will fall. A clip, pin, adhesive, something is needed to insure they two units stay connected in some configurations. I used a piece of tape that does not look too good but it is on a workbench so who cares.

I don't usually have trouble assembling inexpensive furniture, but the pre-drilled holes in the shelf I received were useless, especially with the flimsy mini screwdriver included in the kit. If you want to assemble this shelf you will need your own drill.

I want to like this bookshelf but one of the pieces broke/split (piece E) as I was assembling it. It's currently functional but not as sturdy or attractive as I would hope given the price. The product description says there is a replacement plan and product warranty but gives no way to contact the seller.
