Perfect size for my household composting needs. It is also very easy to clean and hasn't rusted one bit -- even with acidic foods sometimes sitting in it longer than they should.

This pet pail is very sturdy and nice quality. My Lab Retriever slops water everywhere when she drinks. By using a pail she has her head pointed into it as she comes away. The drips from her remain in the pail. It was well woth buying it.Tom

I bought this to replace my 2 quart, stainless pail I use for dairy/milking purposes that had developed a little pitting after 8 years of daily use. I paid maybe $7 for that old one so not like it's anything special and it way out performed my expectations. I certainly didn't expect this one to last like that, but I did expect it to be a new, undamaged stainless steel pail up to the task of actually being used. It arrived with a ding and crease in the bottom. It wasn't cracked, so while I wasn't happy, it was deemed useable at least for short term. I've used it twice, hand washed with Dawn dish soap and water, mild bleach-water sanitized and air dried afterward, and today I found where it is already pitting and getting ready to rust on the inside bottom of the pail. While I did not expect it to last anywhere as long as my old pail, I sure thought it would last more than two washes! Save your money and buy something else.

Bought two of these to keep the outdoor animals watered. They destroy everything, so anything worth keeping needs to be stainless steel. Tethered one to the fence for the dogs (so I dont' have to track it down every day) and use another to bring water to the rabbitry.

I love this bucket! I use it for gathering eggs from my chickens. My only complaint was that it was slightly dented and scratched upon arrival, but that's not a huge deal. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars -- for this price it shouldn't arrive in used condition.

I love this bucket to hold water for our dog. I’ve tried other brands but this one is superior in many ways!!- thick metal and a thick handle- a fat wide shape that makes it hard to tip over with playful pets- holds plenty of water for our 60# dog

This pail is just what I wanted... ceramics have worries about lead, and plastic pails are not supposed to be good for dogs either, so this one, is big enough so I don't have to fill it more than once a day, and fits perfectly inside the plastic pail... why in the pail? The plastic pail acts as a door stopper without a bang.

Decent buckets, but do not think they will hold up long term. Using them to milk a Nubian goat right now. They sit flat, are seamless, easy to clean, and do not retain odors. I would like if these were also available with lids.

I really like this...hasn't rusted yet. And shouldn't. We use it as a community water bucket for all cats and dogs in the house. Much better than plastic that is not sanitary for animals. Stays cleaner. I'm glad I got the big one. It's not too big but not too small either.
