My sons have tightly coiled hair and need hair cuts frequently and low, just to look presentable. This brush is helping me tame/loosen their coils without them screaming and running from me. it’s firm but not too hard, and it is very effective in making their cuts last with new growth. I‘m a woman and have natural hair. I use this brush every day for smooth ponytails and I lobe the way it makes my waves look! Yes, we have two of these exact brushes. I have some of the other Torino Pro brushes, but I love this one the most. Oh and try to catch the sale cause it’s not cheap.
