Worked on Faux Rock
This worked on the fake rock surface on the front side of our house. I’m not sure the material, it’s not plastic though. I see the rain bead off of it where applied with no change to color compared to untreated sections. If you have mold or discoloration on the area coated that you can’t remove, that will remain under the sealer but it will still work.

Works well
We use it on our shower limestone shelf which is quite porous. The limestone is receiving all the water coming from the shower head and dripping from the wall tiles several times a day.If we do not use any sealer, the surface will eventually grow some grime and tiny specks of mold within the pores of the stone, with this sealer we are able to avoid this issue, because the water will sort of make it in droplets that do not penetrate the stone. We have to reapply it almost every month due to the fact that 3 or 4 showers per day are a lot of water the stone has to deal with.

Doesn’t work on sandstone
I added it to my sandstone hoping it would seal the stone and keep sand from sluffing off into my pool, it didn’t work at all. Doesn’t seem to repel water at all. It does keep your stone the same appearance as advertised, but I didn’t see any water repelling properties on this type of stone.Instead I used Black Diamond Wet look stone sealer and that worked like magic although I didn’t want the darker wet look, it’s better than all my sandstone slowly filling my pool with sand. Not recommended for sand stone!

Worked great for sealing grout
I applied this to a tile job that consisted of a pre-sealed stone terrazzo tile and epoxy grout. This sealer kind of beaded up on the tile, but it soaked right into the grout. Previous to this the grout was just barely porous that water would trap in the joints and the stone would have a wet look. This sealed the grout lines, and no more water lines appear. Everything beads up and drains as it was supposed to. This product was a good price, and a great value as our tile folks were about to spend $2,000 tearing up the tile and doing it again to eliminate the porous tile spots.
