Splay Swordfish PGS Pro Gloves

Started playing football again so i decided to treat myself to a new pair of gloves. Only playing once or twice so i didn't want to spend a lot of money on them, however i did want to get a decent pair.The reinforced fingers mean that i am more comfortable in catching the ball as they are designed to naturally fall into a cupping shape. This has helped increase my catches when diving and crosses. This feature in the finger also adds a little bit more strength when palming or punching the ball.The thick padding has made a real difference to my safe percentage as well. A lit of the sting that comes from the shot is absorbed into the pads, and since i have had the gloves i cannot remember feeling any stinging sensation after a safe. The gloves have become a little dirty after a few games, but nothing that can't be rectified with good glove care. They are how you would expect a pair of used gloves to be, so i have been impressed by the quality.The fit is good. I tried on a pair in a local shop before ordering these ones. The pair from the shop and the Amazon pair are exactly the same size, so there is no trouble there. The bag that they come in is waterproof and is a nice addition to ones that i have had previously (mesh, which lets a lot of damp in)Overall i am happy with the purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and even purchase againSplay Swordfish PGS Pro Gloves - Size 10

I have not used the gloves on a game yet I just tried them on so the review might get updated.As a first check they look very well made. They fit well on my hands (got size 9. Maybe 10 would be good as well but might be too loose not so sure) and they have a finger saver frame inside which is important. The glove straps on my hands well. Not sure if the ventilation is good enough. My old gloves have some "windows" that air can go through those ones have some parts that are holed but they look small. When I use them on a match I will try and write more.Edit: I have to edit the review although after some time and unfortunately take one star of. I am currently using the gloves on my team's games. They have a good grip, good fit (after all that was my size) and the ventilation is good. However, on the top side of the glove where the finger saver splint ends, there are some very weak stitches. One of them was torn on the second or third use so now sometimes the splint comes out of the glove and I have to put it back in. I think that considering the prices (the gloves are not so cheap) the stitches SHOULD be much more durable.

I bought these for my 13 year old son, having gone through many pairs of gloves recently I decided to buy a decent pair. He has worn them for a month now and every game has been in the wet. I can honestly say he loves them and they seem to have made a huge difference in the wet. I went for a size 8 and they fit him perfect, clean and dry them them after every game and they come up as new. Great padding and the finger save helps him at this stage of football.

Mmmm, amazing gloves and NOT and a big brand name! Fingerspines-yes roll finger cut-yes really good Velcro wrist strap-yes and a quality latex Palm. Wet them well before use and you can a 'sidewinder' rocket!!!!

These see to be good gloves but they are very fragile, if you pull too hard on the strap or wrist part it will come straight off - my pair are wrecked after using once a week for 6 months or so. I expected them to last much longer than that

At first I thought these were perfect, but after a few wears, the stitching started to come away in many places, not just one... I tried to exchange them but couldn't as id had them for 30 days.... Tbf Maybe they weren't made to handle all the worldy saves I pull off, and are more suited to the amatuer goal keeper

These gloves are brilliant I have used them all session and they have only just started to split. They have excellent grip in all conditions I will be buying a new pair for next season.
