Perfect fit and function.
This appears to be a quality drop pitman arm. Went on with no issues, took grease well and has a very nice seal.Save yourself some time by moving your steering box around with the hydraulic lines and steering shaft attached. You don't have to take the steering box out of the vehicle to do this job.Pull the three bolts out of the steering box that holds it to the frame after removing the pitman arm from your drag link. After the steering box is removed from the frame, move your steering box around past the sway bar until you can get a socket on the large nut holding it on your pitman shaft. There is enough room to get on a pitman arm puller too.Put your new one on and torque the nut. Move your box around to get the pitman arm ball joint into your draglink. Put on your castle nut and move your steering box back to your frame rail and insert the large three bolts. This was done on a 1999 Suburban 4x4.

Excellent quality - Very pleased
Investing in quality parts is important to keep your vehicle running properly. This is especially true with suspension and steering parts. You need to ask yourself: Do I really want to do this job again? Replacing this pitman arm and idler arm on my 1993 K1500 was difficult. The steering box needs to be removed on this year and model, and you need to make sure you have a pitman arm puller tool. Using the puller is much easier anyway when the steering box is outside the vehicle. Then you need to add fluid and bleed the power steering box. You also should get an alignment afterwards. Invest in quality parts and you will save yourself the hassle of doing this job twice. This pitman arm is definitely a high quality part.

Perfect fit for my 97 k1500 5.7
Fit my original steering box for my 97 k1500 5.7 just fine. Pitman arm was stuck in gear box pretty good and puller wouldn’t get it, so I cut a ‘relief’ spot in the pitman arm with my angle grinder and tapped a chisel in the relief spot to crack the pitman arm, then the puller pulled the pitman arm off with no problem at all.

good quality, tightened up steering
I got this as a replacement for the stock pitman arm on my c1500. it’s a little heavier and seems more solid than stock. it was much easier to install than it was to remove the old one. took a lot of slop out of my steering.

Premium OEM part.
Excellent quality from the OEM manufacturer. I don't think you can do better than that.

Not what’s pictured!
I own a truck and a Yukon that use the same pitman arm. I previously bought this for the Yukon which was well made, heavy duty with a blue rubber boot as shown in the pictures of the product, what you would expect of the “Professional” line of AC Delco products. What I received this time is a light duty Pitman arm. It doesn’t even have a boot, instead it just has a rubber washer. I might as well have saved a bunch of money and bought a cheap aftermarket product.

Fits tightly as it should
Perfect fit on my 95 C1500 pickup with 200,000+ miles. Competitor brand would not seat tightly on pitman shaft. AC Delco tightened right up and stayed that way. Good part at good value.

Not happy
Two years ago I ordered this and was very pleased so I thought I’d try it again this time what I received was not the heavy duty one with the blue seal I received the one in the second and third picture, which is a lighter version very disappointed tried to return it they wanted me to pay $30 to ship $100 Part back, so I chose not to figure I probably wouldn’t see a penny back anyways. I installed the lighter version and after it was torqued, the black rubber Dust seal squished and bulged out so it’s probably not gonna last long.. I would give it zero stars, which doesn’t give any options for. If you can find someone that will sell you this actual product with the blue dust you it is the best one you will find. For a 1998 chev /gmc truck
