Polaroid PTAB735 7" Android 4.4 KitKat Tablet With Google Play, Dual-Core, Dual Cameras

I purchased this budget tablet because of all the good reviews, and because Polaroid has a pretty good reputation. Unfortunately this thing fell far short of my expectations. The first major problem is the battery life- Polaroid's website says this thing gets about 4 hours of battery usage, but I was having trouble keeping it powered for 30minutes- even with moving backgrounds and location tracking turned off. The second major problem is the wireless receiver in this thing. It's terrible. The range is literally like 30ft or less. Not to mention apps constantly crash, or fail to load. My 3rd major problem with this thing is the display- when held horizontal it looks alright, but when held vertically (as most people do with tablets) there's a very strange glare/ distortion with the screen that hurts my eyes to look at for more than a few seconds. I've seen this on other budget tablets including the KingPad.

I bought this for my sisters Birthday present and she loves it. It's good use for her school. She loves it works pretty good does the job!

Just started using this.So far no complaints.The future will tell. To early to review.Now that I have had it for 5 months, I can say that it is a very very very slow tablet.I am very disappointed of the picture quality. Being a Polaroid.And it is not what I expected. Very slow is an understatement.Now I am going to buy a Fire 7.Hopefully, it's a better tablet.

Very good tablet for the grand-kids at a reasonable price. I plan to buy at least one more soon. My only caveat - the sound is sub par. The first tablet was for my tween and will be passed along to one of her younger siblings. I will probably replace it with an Amazon Fire, which is an excellent (5+ Stars) bargain priced tablet. My opinion - The Polaroid is an affordable first tablet for kids under 10 who are still learning to be responsible for their electronic toys..

I hesitated to write this review because c'mon, who expects a tablet this cheap to perform well? I bought it as a secondary tablet to run only Clash of Clans when I don't have the primary one with me. This thing is absolute junk. Anybody that comments that it has a "brilliant screen" or is "fast" is either a newcomer to the world of tablets or is a fake reviewer. Give me a break I would expect this thing to be hanging on the inside of a vending machine. You know those machines with the "claws"? The screen is a joke. You have to view it straight on to even see anything on the screen. Every single time I wake up the tablet from 'sleep' it doesn't find any wifi signals so I have to power it off and on again. It is S.....L......O.......W.......I own 10 other tablets ranging from Ipads to Ipods to Android devices and some of them are at least 4 years old and all of them run circles around this thing. All I have installed on this turd is Clash of Clans! That's it! It takes forever for it just to switch from one village to the next. Sometimes up to 10 seconds! My next slowest tablet (with tons of apps installed from my kids) takes a maximum of maybe... 3 seconds? And that's when I have a bad connection.Wow I didn't know it was possible for any devices sold in the year 2015 to be this slow, but hey this tablet costs less than your average meal for 4 at a restaurant so I guess I shouldn't have expected it to be great, but dang... I feel like it won't last much longer and I've probably only used it for 3 or four hours, max. Spend your money on something that will make you happy and avoid this thing like the plague. I wish I had.
