Piercing Care Kit by Tattoo Goo, Complete Aftercare and Cleaner Kit, Antimicrobial Soap, Cleansing Spray, and Cleansing Swabs, Alcohol Free

I was having trouble successfully cleaning a new conch piercing - my ears are small and it's hard to navigate them easily. I was originally advised also not to use q-tips to clean them (I understand why however I failed to find another alternative because my fingers are just too big for the space). The result was a lot of soreness and tenderness that wasn't fading, though I was barely winning the fight against infection. I was trying to clean it regularly and even doing warm salt baths, plus saline spray, getting a special pillow, etc.My boyfriend happened to walk past one of these kits at the pharmacy and mentioned it to me. I immediately searched it and ordered it - specifically for the swabs, though the soap was a significant benefit, also (I already had an effective saline spray but it just wasn't enough by itself; my soap was good enough but pretty generic so the one in the kit was an improvement).Not even 24 hours after getting it and starting on it, the pain, swelling, tenderness, and redness almost vanished. It's been a couple weeks now and, while it's still a new piercing and in the early healing (I got it about a month ago), the kit has done an amazing job with helping it heal successfully. Obviously, it still doesn't feel amazing if my hair gets wrapped around it, I sleep on it by accident, etc., but that's to be expected. It has shown no signs of infection since I started using the products and I can gently touch it to clean it now without any pain at all. The swelling is also gone.As an added bonus, I have a fairly new nose piercing which is only a few months old. It got yanked and a pressure bubble started to form but I immediately used the swabs on it and it disappeared overnight.I will now be using these products for all of my piercings now and any new ones in the future. I highly recommend this product.

The item is amazing. But let me recount the story. I got a nose piercing on my right side. I initially did not use this product and did not follow aftercare instructions thus I got a bump on my nose. I got this product and started using it and the bump got better but did not go away. After a couple of weeks my piercer said it was best to call it quits on that piercing and pierce the other side so my right side could heal. I followed his advice and removed the piercing and got a new piercing on my left side. This time I did follow aftercare instructions and used this product as recommended on the box with my new piercing and the side that needed healing. I’m glad to report that the new piercing and my right side are healing right on track. No bumps on the new piercing and the bump on my left side went down completely. Moral of the story. Follow aftercare instructions and use this product from the beginning. Save yourself issues, pain and money by following instructions from your piercer and using their product; The soap especially for the first couple of days. Then you can do the sprays. I hope this helps someone out there! I put pictures of my right side after using the product and the bump went down. The second picture is after the piercing was removed and the bump healed and the third is of my piercing on my left side looking great!

I got this piercing back in December last year and developed two granulomas. I tried everything and couldn’t find much information specifically about this type of piercing. On May 5th, I started using this kit. The first two pictures are from when I started, and the last two are from today, July 15th (I blurred them a bit). I think the difference is pretty clear — in less than three months, this is the progress I’ve made. I still have a little bit left to heal, but I’m going to keep using it because it’s the best thing I’ve tried so far.

I would say that it does it job keeping the piercings clean and free from bacteria but I honestly can't get over the smell, hence the 4/5. It doesn't smell rancid but it doesn't smell nice either. Also, the antibacterial soap is not very thick and runs easily. I would still recommend it though but I would suggest they add some type of gentle fragrance and make the soap thicker because I squeeze a little bit and it's all over my hand. But since it does its purpose (keeping the piercing clean) it genuinely deserves 4/5 stars.

I have a bit of cartilage piercings and this kit is useful. I typically get bumps but using this in my cleaning regimen is extremely important in getting rid of bumps for me. First, I put the soap on a cotton bud and really work it in and around the piercing, I wait a few minutes and then rinse off. After rinsing, I spray the saline or the extra-strength solution and wait till it dries. I then use put a few drops of Plant Therapy Tea Tree (Melaleuca) Essential Oil. 100% Pure, Undiluted, Therapeutic Grade. 30 ml (1 oz). on a cotton bud and rub this into the piercing. I do this morning and night. This completely clears up any infection AND most importantly, gets rid of any piecing bumps I have. This is the regimen that works for me.When I use these products separately, they don't work. I highly recommend.

I started using this about a week or two after I got a daith. Soap at least once a day, saline spray AM and PM. I only used the expressions spray if I slept on my ear or if I had to be in seawater for my job. When the saline spray finished I used the expressions spray at least once a day, soap twice a day. I kept meaning to replace the saline spray but I never had any issues anyway. As I started feeling the daith healing more I started using the expressions spray a little less often, every other day or so. I got the piercing in late December, and it's not *completely* healed yet but its really close. Will definitely use this product again on my next piercing, particularly the saline spray
