Works great, requires modification (1999 323iC)
Windblocker works great and transforms the top down experience at highway speeds; no more tiring back draught. Quality is very good, especially so at this price point. Obviously makes the back seats useless for anything other than storage and won't fit in the trunk when not in use; both caveats also apply to the $400 factory one!First use it took me a little time to figure out the orientation of the front brackets, but after that the screen is in and out of the car in less that a minute. Also came with a vinyl cover which I haven't figured out how to use yet; is it for storage, or some sort of privacy cover when the screen is on the car?The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is, like one other reviewer, I found that the back feet did not fit into the soft-top well as they should; I simply straightened out the top bend on each bracket and now it fits OK. The feet are the correct shape and position, but the distance between them needs to be about an inch longer. Front pegs work perfectly in the factory pockets in the front seatbelt trim. Instruction would have been nice, especially for the mystery vinyl cover thingy!Overall a great purchase and recommended for any E36 convertible owner.

Great Quality & Fits Perfect
This windscreen is exactly what I needed. I have a 94 BMW325IC. I took it out of the package not sure what to expect. I was plesently supprised of the quality of it. It was lacking instalation instructions, (that's why I didn't rate it with 5 stars). After a few minutes of placing it in different ways it clicked how it went. By the seat belts on each side there is a hole that it goes in, thanks to another review I read. I installed it and it fit perfectly. Once installed you need to tigheten the locking nuts but not too tight to make it stay when up, otherwise any interuption in the backdraft will konck it down. I went on a road trip a couple weekends ago, and it worked like I hoped it would. Driving at 70 mph it feels like I had one window open, & traveling about 45 mph, a nice breeze not gushing winds like before. When I arrived at my destination 135 miles away, my eyes didn't bother me like they normaly do. I had to remove it last weekend for extra passengers, and it came out and went back in with ease. I am very pleased with this product and would recomend it to anyone that has an E36 chasis.

Great product!
Great product! If you assemble it outside of the car, I found it hard to put it in place in the front holes. What I did is I first undo the left front hook, then put it in place, and then tighten the front left hook back in. I left the rear ears sit on top of the cover. I am not sure if I should open the rear cover, put the deflector back in place, and then close the cover, so the rear ears get sandwiched between the car and the cover. All this should be covered better in the instructions. Otherwise everything else is great!

Works very well, required modification.
I bought this for my '98 M3 and let me first say that it works every bit as well as the ones you might spend $400+ for. It installs into the stock post sockets by the seat belts. I'm very happy with my purchase. The issue is that while it fits very well in all other dimensions, feet in the back won't sit flush against the body so that the top can close. I fixed this quite simply by cutting the feet off and hooking / wedging the screen to the back-seat headrests. Effective and fairly simple with just a hacksaw. This may just be due to a slight difference in dimensions between E36 models, but I don't know enough to say. For certain, my 98 M3 needed slight modification.

Can't go wrong!
Works very well makes riding on the highway much more enjoyable. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is it doesn't fit anywhere but the back seat. You can't break it down and put it in the trunk so you have to plan where you're going with it. Small price to pay considering the other ones are $400

Perfect fit and price
I have wanted a wind deflector for our 1997 328i convertible for years, but I was not about to pay $400-500 for one just to block a little wind. This product was the right price and works perfectly. Easy to install and light enough to remove if needed. Thanks Raceland for creating this. Now if you could make one that fits E46 models. My friends want one since they saw ours. Thanks.

Excellent product that works great at blocking unwanted turbulence in the cabin. One note though, on my 94 E36 325I I had to cut 1/2" off of each of the pegs that go into the seat belt cover holes. Not sure if this is common or if I was doing something wrong because there were no instructions with it so it's hard to say.
