Contour Products Original Leg Pillow

I bought this to replace a knee pillow that had finally worn out. I sleep on my side and use the pillow between my knees, as opposed to my upper or lower leg. It does not collapse during the night, nor does it separate my legs too much. I've had several back surgeries so I am very particular about my sleeping habits. I found it was easy to transition to this pillow and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this for my husband since he has back problems (had back surgery with a fused L4 and L5). He sleeps with it every night and says it really helps alleviate his pain. Hands down, this is still the best on the market as it retains its shape all night, unlike others that are memory foam and go down to nothing in 5 minutes, hence defeating the purpose of having it!

I have a leg pillow from this same company which has worked well and served me for quite a few years. It had a very firm, dense foam which held its shape very well. I decided to order one for my husband. This new one is much lighter weight and the foam does not hold its shape as well, so it gives much less support than my original one. After only a short time, it has compressed, and so will be pretty short lived. I called the manufacturer to see if there was another model with the better foam, and they told me they no longer use that type of foam. Bummer!

I ordered the Contour Original Leg Pillow from As Seen on TV. I got the Contour Memory Foam Leg Pillow. When I called As Seen on TV, I was told that the two pillows are the same and that I got the right pillow. I referred them to the Amazon descriptions of both pillows where you can see that the Original is made of "urethane foam" and the Memory Foam is made of "100% visco-elastic memory foam."I explained that the reviews indicated that the Memory Foam is more easily compressed and that I wanted a pillow that would put some space between my knees. I also referred them to the Contour Living web site which clearly explains the differences between the two pillows. The Memory Foam pillow compressed to the point that my knees were almost touching and it was useless.As Seen on TV did not acknowledge the error or say that they would stop "selling" the wrong pillow. Amazon did nothing either. I was forced to mail the Memory Foam pillow back to As Seen on TV at my expense and the mailing cost was almost not worth refund.I bought the Original pillow from another seller. It is, indeed, firmer and kept a distance of 3" between my knees. With my husband, the space was 2-1/2". The advantage of either Contour pillow is that you can flip over gripping the pillow between your knees and you don't have to fuss with rearranging the pillow. However, the Original pillow was uncomfortable for me perhaps because of its firmness or perhaps because of my current specific hip problems. I prefer a regular bed pillow (rather flat -- not too thick or fluffy) and have decided to stick with the bed pillow even though I must rearrange it when I turn over from one side to another. Consequently, I gave the Original Contour pillow a 3 star rating but it's certainly worth trying.

I bought this product because I needed to free up a pillow. The product was just okay. Maybe I have thick legs, but I found pillows were a little thinner and longer (to support moving legs about in the night). This mostly only worked if I bent my knees, which I found uncomfortable. I ended up just buying more pillows so I could continue sleeping on my side with comfort.

I love the soft covers of this knee pillow. My husband and I both use one. I recently lost 80 lbs and can't stand the bone on bone feeling while sleeping on my side. This one stays in place very well. I was a little disappointed that it got compressed after a short while; however, I believe they all do. I like this one better than my old one.

I love the original contour leg pillow so much. Needed to take the pressure off of my back so I could sleep and this does just the trick. I am sleeping so much better now and it helps with my chronic pain. Before I had this, I could not sleep right and my spine was not aligned right. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone especially if they have back or hip pain.

I can not sleep without this pillow. yes... It does heavily compress after the first couple of uses, but it still cushions my knees and does the job for which it is intended. The pillow case ripped when I took off the tag, so be careful. A quick needle and thread and it is fine. Priced well and works well.
