Samsung Galaxy S3 SIII White Front Glass Replacement - Samsung

So, I am know as the phone killer of my family. I have broken more glass than I care to fess up to, and honestly, when I broke the one on this phone, I was really bummed. I am super cheap and refused to pay the $200 to have someone replace the screen and glass, especially when Samsung will replace it for $170. But I digress. The package arrived super fast, actually two days before it's scheduled arrival date (one if you don't count sunday) It was packaged very well in bubble wrap, paper and came in a small box. After watching a few YouTube videos, I got out my handy hair dryer, and went to work. About an hour later, the glass was off and I was ready to replace it with the new glass. It took all of a minute, two if you count the time I spent reheating the adhesive. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I will purchase again if and when the time comes that I break my glass again.

I gave this item five stars because the item itself is fine. It looks exactly like the original glass and since my LCD was still functioning, I though, "Why not!"Well, it is far more difficult for repair facilities to change just the glass. The first place I went to said, "No, we won't do just the glass. We've broken several so now we just change the whole assembly." The second place said the same thing. The third place was super gung-ho, they told me they would have it in about an hour, but when I returned.... I was now the proud owner of a phone with an uncracked glass but a broken LCD.If you are certain there's a facility that can handle just changing this (or are brave enough to do it yourself), by all means. Just remember, this is only the glass, nothing else. No electronics, no LCD, so if that's also messed up this is not all you need.

I like that it wasn't too expensive which led me to buying it, but the installation was a bit difficult. You only have once chance to get it on properly because once you lift it then it will never turn out the same. Dust can get under or air bubbles may form. For me, this screen protector lasted a good two months before air bubbles started showing up, which is unusual for me. I never lifted the screen and wasn't rough with it. Because of the price I am not that disappointed and just see it as an average screen protector.

Just received this (quickly) and installed it the same day. It fit perfectly and has a quality feel and look. I will have to wait to give a rating on its' durability but it seems to be of very good quality.-UpdateIt has been several months now since I installed this on my wife's phone and it has performed perfectly! The clarity and strength of the glass is on par with the original gorilla glass as far as I can tell. My wife is pretty careful with her phone though (I used the phone for over 2 years and broke the original glass). I would definitely recommend this product.

I ordered this glass replacement and chose to have a repair shop install it for me. I figured that I would save money by bringing the glass to the shop and just paying for labor (saved $50). The glass replacement looked good out of the box but the repair guys told me it was definitely generic and inferior in quality to what would be considered "original". The result after the repair is slight streaking at bottom of glass and a thin "glass" face.Just had it repaired today (3/14/2014) and, for now, the $6 I paid for the item seems worth it in the savings but we'll see.... I wish the product description wasn't deceiving as I would have paid more for true "original" "Samsung" glass.

This was exactly what I ordered! And, expected to get. I was worried it would be a faux ... but, No, it was the right Samsung replacement... and, they actually threw in a few tools for me. I'm not sure if that was a mistake ... but, I did appreciate the unexpected PERK!! I would Absolutely refer this company to a friend. It was shipped fast and very VERY reasonably priced. Now, I just need to sit down with the YouTube videos and attempt the change out.Nothing I didn't like - was as described.

While I know this wasn't a kit to replace the screen, there were absolutely no directions or anything at all in the box telling me even a website I could go to to get directions. I ended up watching some youtube videos on how to replace it, it was a long hard process and having proper tools would have probably helped a lot, I'll give this an "Okay" rating because it really wouldn't hurt to leave some instructions in the box rather than it just being a box with one of these things in it.

Go for it. This is really good and shipped fine. I am not sure if this is the original (the price is too cheap to believe it) but it most certainly works like one. I had a couple of others and the touch didn't work on either one. Also the other two costed me 20$ and 10$ respectively and they both were useless plastic. Try it you wont regret it. i am buying another one to have as a spare...I know it sounds cliche but I am that happy with this glass.
