This medium is a great thickness to build into my acrylic paintings and give them the texture I was looking for, absolutely love it. One caution is the smell is a bit strong while it's wet, as these things are, so keep that in mind if you're new to using mediums with your art work. It's a great value as it's a large size for my use as I usually paint on canvases in the 8x10-11x14 range and only use it on one or two objects in my work. It may not be as economical for someone using very large canvases and seeking to cover most of the surface with a very thick coat of medium. For me, I will have to experiment with thicker objects in my work just to be sure to use it up before it deteriorates as these things always do eventually. It has a nice silky spreadability I like and is easy to manipulate into various textures.

I really use this paste, only, since I first tried it. I have been really happy with the weight and consistancy. The spread is exellant, the dry time, short and the price is great for the frugal artist. I would hesitate to call this a gel medium, as it is quite wet. If I need a gel medium I will probably reach for the Liquitex. That said, this one is a very good value for an acrylic medium that is not a gel. I use it for collage and it works quite well. It's thicker than ordinary glue so it warps the paper less, and it applies smoothly.

I love this product! I started using it in lieu of Liquitex paste. Is actually rather amazing.

Can be mixed with acrylic paint to reduce shine. I love the finish.

Works great for my abstract art

Gives texture to my art which I appreciate. I mixed color into it and that works well. I was also able to stick glitter to it and it stayed.

This is great for my mixed media piece I created, not to thick and not to runny.

I love to control the transparency of my paints without adding medium or water - this gel allows me to create custom transparencies for all my colours, allowing me to intuitively paint without degrading my acrylic bond or wasting time and $.

Easy to use with a nice medium consistency, no lumps like some other products I've used. Easy to mix with paint and great for extending or layering. Great bang for the buck for an amateur like myself. I would and did buy again.
