This cover fits my 20 gal long tank very well. It is about a little less than 1/4" wider than the width of the tank, so depending upon what you have in the tank, you will have to secure it. I have fire belly toads, so all I did, was push the top flush in the front and put some clear Gorilla tape by the corners in the back to be sure the little buggers couldn't squeeze out. Frankly, the cover is solid and the weight alone would have keep them in.The hinge is terrific! Total access to the entire tank. Plus the view from the top is great.Well made.

It fit perfect. It was affordable.It is as exactly as described. We have 2 small lizards in a 20 gal. Tank. Also the hinges work ideally.Could not have designed it better myself.Thanks M.P. in. N.C.

My only complaint is it sags in the middle a bit. Convenient although I think I may like a to split vertically instead.

Fits on my 20 gallon long tank! I can cover the front and let the back end rest on my filters. Keeps the cats out and allows good air exchange.

I put this on a standard aqueon 20g long and the fit isn't perfect, but considering this lid was probably made specifically for a Zilla Terrarium that's to be expected. The lid is roughly 1cm deeper (when facing the tank) than a standard 20L aquarium, So if you have a background that your critters can climb, you need to fill that gap. I used some rubber tubing from the local hardware store.The hinged design is great, I much prefer it to the Zilla lid which has a door in the middle of the screen. This lid allows you to reach everywhere in your tank while still letting you keep it on, which is especially convenient for lamps.

Overall, I like this. However, for a 20g long, this does is not a snug fit. I bought clips and used them; however there was a gap at each corner and overhang around the perimeter. I didn't realize all of this when I bought and received my first rosy boa baby (~1 month old). She ended up escaping, and we never found her. By using weather stripping around the perimeter of the tank and airline tubing to run cords (thermometer and thermostat), along with 10 clips holding down the lid, I have made it secure. The metal is also not as sturdy as I'd like, with DHPs, it will slightly warp.As long as you take precautions for very small reptiles and really observe the fit to note gaps and overhangs, it will work; the hinges are great, as I don't have to move the DHP or light from the back of the tank to gain access.

Pros:- The lid fits. The rim of my tank is 30"x12.5"- Feels sturdy.- Arrived fairly quickly.- Works for my needs.Cons:- Unfortunately it arrived with a very bent corner piece, specifically the "lip" that sits over top the tank. I had to use a tool to bend back into position.- There was a small hole in the metal mesh, so I had to fold the sharp bits over so it doesn't stab.- It opens unevenly if I don't lift from the middle, but I'm not sure if this is an intrinsic thing to the product or just because mine is damaged.All in all, the lid is OK and does what it needs to. The damage wasn't bad enough I couldn't fix it, however it is definitely a consideration to take into account.

Product came fast, serves its purpose. Just thought that for the price in comparison to some I have seen, would mean a more heavy duty metal. Overall satisfied with this product

Product came bent and with holes in the screen. It also claims to come with clips but does not. Vary poor construction and flimsy materials.
