Compact Foldable Step Stool, 9-Inch, Gray

light weight, sturdy, easy to use and store. Very good value for the money.

Light weight, small, easy to fold and very sturdy.

This little stool is great! Tall enough to help you reach into those higher cupboards and more. Nice wide top to provide a secure platform on which to stand, lightweight and easy to carry around wherever it's needed. This is a buy - fits this 78-yr old guy just fine

I was leery of this purchase because of all the reviews mentioning finger pinching design. Yes, the two handle holes are oddly placed and can pinch your fingers but simply being aware of this makes this a non-issue in my view. Use your finger tips instead of plunging your fingers deep into those holes and you'll be fine. I bought this brand because it has been tested and certified for structural integrity. After reading about breakage and dangerous failures of OTHER cheaper brands it seemed prudent to pay a bit more for this brand. Overall the build quality is impressive and my 200 lbs doesn't seem to stress the stool at all. I'm not able to assess the quality of the plastic but I presume the structural test certification indirectly indicates high plastic integrity. I picked this 12 1/2 " high stool because I have been using a 9" stool and needed just a little more height for best usefulness. I found 12 1/2 " to 13" to be the sweet spot for easy step on and step off. I took 1 star off for the "pinchy" nature of the finger holes.

Great little stool, sturdy yet light, and folds for easy storage

Good, does it's job, light weighted and sturdy

Love, love, love this little step stool. I have an aluminum ladder in my closet but sometimes don’t have the space to open it when I can’t reach an item. That’s when this little guy comes in handy. It leans against the wall, I grab it and it takes up very little floor space to open up and there’s no problem getting on the top of it with the step on the side. I’m no spring chick anymore when I used to get on a high stool easily. So, it is higher than a regular stool but yet easy to get on top of it.

Perfect! I am a senior and yes, I have "shrunk"! Items at the top of my kitchen cupboards I could reach a year ago, I now cannot! I have chronic dizziness, so standing on a chair is impossible. This little stool is cute, it folds up neatly and flat and I can now reach my top cupboard! it is very stable, easy to take to other parts of the house and I feel safe on it. Simple fold out and it is ready for me-another very fine purchase!

A lot of reviews mentioned the risk of pinching fingers as the stool folds closed. Forewarned is prepared. I haven't had an issue as I place my hands carefully to avoid getting pinched. The stool is a little taller than similar ones from other manufacturers, but this one has a dainty step at the front, so I stop lightly there then up onto the top surface. It folds flat but the little step protrudes - just a bit. If planning to stope in a narrow space (such as next to the refrigerator) make allowance for the step.
