Van HeusenMen's Pinpoint Regular Fit Solid Button Down Collar Dress Shirt

Needed a new white shirt and this one fits the bill perfectly. It is super comfortable with the size and fit just right. However it is not wrinkle free ad advertised - though to be fair it comes out of the wash much less wrinkled than other dress shirts I have owned. Next time though I will order a shirt that is not button-down - easier to wear with a tie though this is not the fault of the shirt.

Wanted a nice blue shirt...the fabric feels good, but the color is purple.

I've been dieting and losing a lot of weight, so I needed to buy new dress shirts for work. As the selection here is better than the individual stores I shop at, I like to buy my shirts on Amazon. (Their easy clothing return policy is a key point that lets me be comfortable ordering shirt types and sizes I haven't seen in person.) I like a traditional, crisp, button-down look so I found several brands that offered that style and ordered one of each. While all of them were more-or-less adequate, this shirt, the Van Heusen Men's Pinpoint Regular Fit, is my favorite.It fits me well; I have a long torso and this shirt is long enough that it doesn't pull out from dress pants after sitting for awhile. I like the feel of the material. (I prefer pinpoint fabric as opposed to twill or broadcloth in my dress shirts.) It's attractive and wears well throughout the day without a lot of wrinkling (another benefit of pinpoint). The price here is also very reasonable for a good work dress shirt.My only complaint, and it's a purely personal one, is that until about 20 years ago, the next little town down from where I grew up used to have a Van Heusen shirt factory in it. But it closed, good people lost their jobs, and the work went overseas. The people working there were not getting rich by any stretch of the imagination, but you can't compete with countries where companies can pay a only fraction of even our minimum wage. I don't specifically blame Van Heusen, as everybody else has done it, too. I would gladly pay more for this shirt if it were still American made, but that ship has long since sailed, for fabric/textile products and a whole slew of other things we used to make in America.That aside, I like this shirt and recommend it if you need a good, relatively inexpensive dress shirt for your office. Five stars.

Love this VH shirt model. Great material and classic look. This one is replaces another I’ve worn for a couple of years that got torn. Looks good with everything from jeans to a suit.

I'm pleased at how well these shirts maintain a crisp, clean appearance throughout daily wear. Great for travel as I folded, packed, unpacked and unfolded the shirt several times over the course of a three week journey, and they remained smooth and fresh looking before and after machine washing without ironing. They fit more snugly than my usual Nordstrom button-down pinpoints and you feel the polyester in the blend; still, favorably impressed with this economical item.

I would love to have kept this beautiful shirt, but it looked someone spilled coffee on it before shipping it! Really disappointed! Going to order another one.Update: 11/2Ok I received my second shirt. The shirt itself was awesome but the way it came was barely acceptable! I came in the clear retail type packaging with the label on it! It had the easy open packaging which wasn't sealed at the bottom which left the shirt to possibly getting dirty. Like I said this is an awesome dress shirt with nice smooth pinpoint texture. I give the shirt itself 5 🌟 but Amazon's handling was not to their normal standards.

Ni siquiera le quitaron los hilos donde habían cosido mal los botones y a la segunda puesta se descosió de la espalda, sin mencionar la mala calidad de la tela.Creo que Amazon debería empezar a preocuparse por la calidad de los productos y dejar de enviar paquetes con DHL y UPS, porque no entregan en fin de semana.
