Ok these have exceeded my expectations. The size is awesome and fits well in a carry on bag, great for travel. They heat up very quickly. There are plenty of rollers to place a couple of large around the back and medium and small around your face. The curl is just as good as going to the hairdresser. I was so surprised how well they worked. They are easy to use and dont pull my hair. I have very fine hair which is shoulder length with a curtain fringe. Highly highly recommend these.

I wish all the clips matched the curlers. There is 4 big ones but only 3 big curlers. They should be color coded for size. I always end up with a curler that doesn't have a clip to fit it.

I have a medium amount of fine hair about neck-length long. These curlers are not perfectly round - they are slightly oval in shape to accommodate a strip of small little pegs which are supposed to help grip the hair. This may work well for many people, but I find that it leaves a frizzy kink in the ends of my hair if they are anywhere near that strip when I roll them. Further, the non-round shape makes it a little harder to get the clips around the curlers. I found the clips included to be too large and inflexible. I bought an extra set of wire clips from my local beauty supply store that were narrower and springier - they hold much better. For the short hair in back, I may use still other clips with long teeth that clamp around the curler. The plusses: they head up pretty fast (though I think 5 min. is better than 90 sec.) and they are very compact. There is a pocket inside the case in the back for wire clips. They do curl pretty well, but because of the little strip of pegs, the curls don't come out as even or soft-looking as they do with my larger set of flocked curlers. If you have thicker or less fine hair that doesn't "kink" easily, then these will probably work great. I will be looking for other travel curlers that allow my hair to lay flat and smooth against the curler when rolled up.

This is a review of Conair's Instant Heat Compact Hot Rollers. I needed a small set of hot rollers and I really wanted mostly large rollers, so I purchased this set and also Conair's Compact Multi-Size Hot Rollers , thinking I could make my own set by combining them. After receiving them I decided not to try that as they are made of different looking materials. To test them, I rolled my hair using both types, so I could compare these against Conair's Compact Multi-Size. I am a middle-age woman with fine hair, and it has always been a challenge to get hot rollers to stay in my hair when I use them and to get my hair to stay on the rollers. Not with these! I have used many different types of hot rollers over the past decade, and I have never, ever found a hot roller that stayed in my hair like the Conair Instant Heat Compact Hot Rollers! For that reason alone I would give this set five stars. These rollers produced a long lasting, strong curl. They stayed in my hair the whole time (probably 20 minutes), even as I went about my daily tasks while waiting for them to cool. I have almost shoulder length, fine hair, but I have plenty of it. There is only one con that I noticed on these and that is I struggle to get them back into the case. I think there is a certain way they fit back in and I did not notice what it was when I first used them. But that is so minor compared to finding rollers that work so well with fine hair. A great buy - I highly recommend these. UPDATE: I have now had these rollers a couple of weeks and I actually got a second set so I would have more jumbo rollers overall. I keep them plugged into a surge protector strip and whenever I want to heat them, I just turn the strip on. Fitting the rollers back into the case got easier when I saw that the bottom part fits in a certain way. If you do not click the roller into place, it does not heat well the next time. See photos for detail. Overall, I still really like these rollers, but I still wish Conair offered a set of about 16 jumbo rollers with only 4-6 smaller ones. The jumbo ones produce a much prettier (non-poodle looking) curl.

First let me say this set is absolutely wonderful. You have the following; 4 small rollers 5 medium rollers and 3 big rollers. This set is great for those with above the shoulder or short hair. The system heats up quickly. You must keep the carry bag closed and the rollers retain the heat. The system comes with hair pins that hold the rollers in place and they do an excellent job of it if you know how to use them. I saw other reviews where people complained about the pins. Guess what you have to know how to use the rollers and how to set your hair. Sometimes it takes practice all systems have hair clips that you must use or even if you get the Caruso curler the shell holds. This system is compact that you can put it in a large purse or a tote bag and away you go. This is an excellent system for short hair gals. It's fast while you have your haired rolled up it gives you the opportunity to do other things. The curls with these rolers stay for me but I must say it's not the roller that determines if your hair curler will stay it's your hair type if it's hard to curl then you must use some product then try the rollers. Spend some time with the system it's not that hard to do I would advise that on any hair styling product. I found this system to be excellent and would advise anyone with short hair to get this.

They don't hold temperature very well and are very hard to clip on. Sorry, definitely but not for me.

Good size. Excellent to travel. Clips are included in the box. 2 sizes of curlers. Wish they were a litlle bit smaller. For my type of hair, short and very fine, the regular size is good but the big ones, too big. Amazon service is excellent.

Heat up very quickly

Funcionan muy bien. Pero era un regalo y la cumpleañera prefirió devolverlo por no tener pinzas. Yo no me los quedo porque ya tengo. Se calientan rápido y hacen tirabuzones que aguantan hasta que te lavas el pelo.

Me llegaron a tiempo, son prácticos, portátiles y muy fáciles de usar. Me encantaron. Gracias!
