Order 10 -20 % extra
The look is great but the manufacturing is poor. Many were threaded very unevenly requiring steel wool and unscrewing pipes to try to get an even set of 4 shelf spacers for a bookshelf. 5 were completely unusable and 1 had no threads at all. Screw holes on all weren't clear and had to be scraped out with a screwdriver. Because I put so much work into getting sets put together and even for shelving, it wasn't worth returning to get another set which would have same quality control issues. I just ordered another set of 20 so I could finish the project but won't be ordering any more. Too unreliable.

Works great and looks good
Came exactly as described/pictured and threaded perfectly onto my 3/4" pipe.

WATCH OUT FOR THE DIAMETERS OF FLOOR FLANGES
Basically there are two Diameter sizes... it took me awhile to see that... clue.... just my opinion... but the 3 hole Flange... from any seller is 7cm approx 2 3/4"wide, and the 4 hole Flange is the larger of the two is 8.5cm or 3 1/4" wide. I've sent several orders of the lesser priced ones back.. thinking I had found a good deal.... wrong!

Lighter weight but still sufficiently strong.
Not quite as heavy duty as ones you find at the big box stores but much less expensive. There is definitely less steel in each of these castings as well. About 3 of them also had flashing which I had to grind off. They have 3 holes as compared to 4. Unless the hole mounting pattern is critical, these should be sufficient for any reasonable design. And you get about 4x as many for the same price.

Cheap but worth the money
The flanges started developing rust when it came in contact with water. I had to buy rust-o-leum to cover it up and repaint the flanges. Also note that I tried using 1/4" bolts for my table but the holes were not cleanly cut so I had to drill a clean hole out of each flange. Lastly, The treads do not fit the pipes equally. Some pipes will thread further than other ones, so it can cause some unevenness for example you were building table legs with these. Still pretty cheap and good decor piece if you'r willing to work with it!

Good for what they are to be used for
These, along with threaded piping from the same store, were purchased to make a shelf. For that and other furniture they are great. Not meant for actual plumbing use though. Not sure they even meet code. The reason for only 4 stars was that I ordered two packs of 20, and only received 39 total. Of course needed all 40 for the project. Also, as someone else noted, there was, at least in my shipment, two diameters of the flanges. Some were the three hole, thinner ones you see everywhere, and about a third of the order were a larger diameter, 4 hole, thicker, flange. It did not bother me as I was able to make them all work for the project as some will be hidden, but if it was for something highly visible where the difference would be obvious I would be very unhappy. Also the two different diameters of flanges create a difference in height ( Thicker vs Thinner Material). I got lucky and was able to match them up evenly so it was not as issue, but it could have been. As far as the threads, etc, everything is fine.

Great Deal!
We've added many steampunk shelving units in our place and it can get expensive. These flanges were inexpensive and sturdy enough to support bookshelves (using 12" * 3/4" piping). There are only 3 holes for screws (instead of the usual 4 holes for plumbing pipes to spec), which I dismissed when purchasing, then panicked about when installing...But it's all been fine thus far. Also, the metal width (?) is thinner...i.e. less metal used. Again, I'm not a plumber...could poss pose a problem for that use, but they're plenty strong for bookshelves.

EXCELLENT for Mounting Black Pipe Shelving
I ordered these for a shelving project in a small kitchenette in an addition I was building. They worked great. I can't attest to the actual weight-bearing limit because there are too many factors, but these work great for the application for which I bought them. The main thing to keep in mind is that these come coated with an anti-rust agent that comes off easily with soap and water. This will need to be removed if you decide to paint them as I did. After they are cleaned, paint them QUICKLY as they will begin to rust within a day.
